Hello eveyone, Claudia here.

So as the topic suggests I am slowly working on coming out, albeit its more along the lines of presenting as my true self online.

So for those who do not know I am a huge fan of gaming (been so for many years), so for the past month in any game I can, I play as female. Such as, GTA V, Payday 2, Dragon age inquisition, Skyrim, Prey (2016) etc. (Granted not all of the above are multiplayer, but you get the idea.)

So to my friends on steam (peaty much everyone right now) they do not know, however when it comes to online with other people I have been presenting as female. The reason behind all of this is even though I feel as female on the inside, I wanted to make sure (even if on a small and limited scale) I was truly happy with being treated as a girl.

I am happy to say, I have not felt happier playing with random friendly people online and being seen and treated as female. Even though I have not come out to any of my steam friends, even with this girl I know who is in the same boat as I. I think I am going to come out to her first though, as would hope we can relate.

The above just cements my eagerness to change (I just imagined molting butterfly to be, sorry off track.) into the person I now I was always meant to be. I just hope I can overcome my fear of telling my family soon. And for my financial situation to change for the better.

Thanks to everyone for taking your time to read, hear me out and help!
Kind regards, Claudia. =)

Hi Claudia,

Online can be a very safe place to try out a few personas to see how they feel. So, welcome to the world where you are 100% female.

Very true, as I said I wanted to make sure how I felt being treated as such. And I was happy with no feelings of wanting to be treated any other way or go back. Just to bad reality does not reflect this yet. Lol, I look forward to that like nothing else. Not to mention getting more dysphoric by the day thanks to now being honest and self aware of my self.
