Since the other topic had to be deleted (ooooops, sorry). I'm reposting appropriately.

https://imgur.com/a/S20Li so...yeah this is my body. I'm really sad because 22 months of HRT haven't defined my waist and I feel my body is a little stick and it bothers me. My face has feminized big time, my body has softened but I don't feel my body is curvy. so, yeah, please give me some advice. I have been trying to do exercise, like squats, to define my waist as much as I can.

what did you girls do to get a more defined body? thank you

I wonder if progesterone would help.

There are two things to consider -- the tightness of your waist, and the curves below your waistline.

You can tone the muscles of your abdomen with exercises like sit-ups and crunches, and side bends or rotations for your obliques, and this can help, but if there's a layer of fat over all that the tight muscles won't matter much -- and all the muscle in the world there won't remove that fat.  The lack of a defined waist will in turn make the curves below your waist seem less curvy.

So the key to is to get thin, right?  Well, except that abdominal fat is often the last fat we'll shed, which means sacrificing the curves along the way.  Which defeats the purpose.  But putting on weight won't help either, because the abdomen will take up more than you need for a defined waist!  It's a Catch-22.

I do think the "solution" to this is a Brazilian Butt Lift or BBL, which is really just autologous fat transfer -- where fat from the torso is liposuctioned away, purified, and re-deposited in the hips and derriere.  Aurorasky, you already have some nice curvature at the bottom of your booty, it's just lacking around the hips.  I think you'd be a very good candidate for this procedure given your current physique.  To prepare, I'd recommend exercises that really target the glutes and hip muscles -- glute bridges, glute presses, and hip abductions.  (Squats can also help, but tend to target the quads more than anything else.)  The better your musculature around the hips and glutes, the better your BBL results will be.

I guess everything is relative... If I had ever looked like that I would have been eternally grateful!

This makes me even sadder. There is no way I will have money for something like this in the future. My parents are already paying for SRS and BA. But I just dont feel curvy and men are not at all attracted to my 13 year old boy body shape :( (ie: rectangle). Don't know what to do.

Not all women are curvy. Hell, I know women with a more masculine body shape than I ever had. After almost 6 years on hormones, I'm still not that curvy. It's one of those things I've just had to accept.

Find a better class of men, those that are only interested in a particular body type and ignore all other factors, such as personality, are not men you want to be with. Be thankful that you are able to have surgery, due to issues with anesthesia I am unable to take those options - again, one of those things about my transition I've been forced to accept.

Maybe you could get 'em to switch the BA for a BBL procedure and then hit 'em up for the BA later since BA's don't cost as much.

BBL is not that expensive -- I've seen them going for US $5K - $8K, which is about the cost of a decent used car.  It may take a couple years to save up for it, or to build up the credit for it, but this should be very doable goal.  :)

Your body is very similar to mine, though I'm a bit taller.  Anyways, you'll be surprised at how much more attention you get from men after BAS.  That alone generated quite a bit of interest -- after my boob job (going from an A+ cup to a C cup) I suddenly had all kinds of guys staring at my tits and firing on me.

Aurora, you're very pretty, you're gonna be fine.  Plus, you won't really know how HRT will fill you out until you've been on it for 7 years.

Hi Aurora. After you have BA that will help a lot with your figure. Also gaining some weight will help. I'm not suggesting you like get fat or anything but try gaining some weight. My Dr once told me that hrt redistributes body fat but that you had to give your body a little fat to redistribute. She told me estrogen can't magically create fat. After I started to gain a little more weight I had better results from the hrt. You can also get padded panties to give you a more female shape. They are Lycra panties with silicone inserts for your butt and hips. It looks and feels real. I used them when I first started hrt. You can get them on amazon. Another thing to remember is that even though you don't have the curves you want you are small framed. That will make it much easier to pass.

Thank you, Sophia and Julia for the advice. It's just that the transition is not cheap at all, and I still feel dysphoric about some things, fixing them all is so %$@! pricey. Anyways, people do tell me that I am very pretty, but I think they're only talking about my face, not my body. Even though I have been getting more and more harassed lately but I am not sure that means anything. When I put on weight, it annoyingly goes to stomach, hips and butt so I always look the same, ugh. So I'm trying to eat really well while combining with rotations and oblique exercises but not crunches as those only build muscle, don't help losing fat.

What do you mean by small framed? And yeah, I don't have curves...

See
http://www.timigustafson.com/2009/what-is-your-frame-size-s-m-l-xl/

Those who are small framed have a MUCH easier time passing and looking good.

I'm about 5'7" (used to be 6ft!) and my wrist measurement is 7.75"... big boned to say the least...

I mean you have a small frame. Small shoulders, wrists, hands, etc. That makes passing easier. I I'm not really curvy either. My boobs are a small C. I have a little bit of an ass and hips but not near as much as I want. But I take what I have. I learned from the girls here it takes like 5-6 years to see the full results of hrt. I've only been on hrt for 2 years so I still have a while to go.  I asked my brother and his friends what they look at first when they meet a girl. They all said her face and boobs. So if you have a pretty face and some boobs that's all you really need to attract guys. A couple if my cis friends don't have curves but they have a pretty face and they get plenty of attention from guys.

Much of what gives a woman her shape is the upper leg/lower hip - crotch region. It took a long time for me to change in that area but one day I looked in the mirror and saw a feminine shape. It's not the pelvis bone but the fat deposits that set the wast off from the lower portion of your body. You should wait several year before making a judgement in that area of your body. On the plus side, your booty is developing nicely where as my backside is still as flat as a pancake.

Hi Aurorasky, some Asian women don't have any curves. Do you have any Asian blood maybe? Even if not, you might feel more womanly knowing that significant number of women don't have defined waist and big butt

Cis people get to spend their money on houses, boats, cars, and vacations.  Trans people like us get to use all our money for surgery just to get to the same beginning point as cis people.  It stinks, but the fact that people can save up for these big ticket items over a long period means you can do it too.  Study hard, work hard, spend wisely, save a lot, and you can get the surgeries you need.  Sure it will take some time, but you can do it!

Aurorasky, you do not have a rectangle body. How old are you now? I'd say you have had some hip spread take place and will continue to for some years to come. As far as body fat goes, you are quite thin. When you hit about 30 you will see plenty of curves. I'd bet you will want that young body back then.  ;) Don't worry so much. You look like you are right on schedule to me.

Now I'll throw in that I too wish I had transitioned young. I'd love to have avoided the decades of T damage that you get to skip.  :D
