Hi I'm looking into getting a reelmajik basic packer soft model (4.5 or 5 inch). I have heard they tear easily, especially in a O-ring harness.
I have had a MR.limpy (3.5) for 4 years now, and it has been through everything, camp trips, sports (including wrestling and football) and it has a small tear at the bottom, but nothing serious.
I was wondering if anyone can comment on the fragility of the reelmajik soft compared to the mr.limpy?
also, how is the weight of the reeelmajik compared to the limpy aswell?

I can't weigh in on what it's like in a harness, as I'm being very careful with my soft RM, but I would definitely not use it in an o-ring. Mines got some damage (just cosmetic and barely noticeable) from accidentally using soap on it that had those exfoliating beads. I'm trying to find a way to create (or buy) a harness that supports the packer by holding the balls instead of the shaft, because the balls still feel sturdy and it's the weight of the balls on the shaft that tears it.

My RM soft 5" is roughly the same weight as my classic 4.5" and both are a significant difference from the Mr Limpy (3.5" or 5"). In secure underwear like briefs or jock it's not a problem but it does tend to wander more in boxer briefs than a limpy. I have to adjust it in boxer briefs every hour or two.

Thanks buddy, this is really helpful. Guess ill wait till they come out w/ the lightweight one then, cause sounds like they do tear easy af lol. This is a pic of whats happened to my mr.limpy over the years, guessing the rips with the RM would likely be alot worse? https://www.tumblr.com/blog/mancandyxo

If you'd be interested in the classic firmness, mines survived some rough use, but if you still want something soft and durable I'd also hold out for the lightweight! Not sure what it's going to be like yet but it can't hurt to see!

I had the classic Reelmagik 4.5 packer and it did fine in my O ring set up. It is like an O ring with little attached tabs, forming a V, that I then safety pin inside my boxer briefs. Very minor tearing on the underside of the base of the shaft where it hung. Pretty much expected wear and tear.

Currently using the soft Reelmagik 4.5 and it is doing just fine. I was concerned with everyone saying how much softer it was and blah blah blah. It's fine. It's not nearly as soft as a Mr. Limpy and hasn't started to tear on me yet.

I used to use a Mr. Limpy. The size was fantastic IMO. I used an elastic band harness with an over and under band that basically put the base of the shaft in a death grip and kept it in the proper spot. I loved its ability to do so since it was also lightweight. The softness of it, I felt, was more realistic in my experience, but was also the reason for its demise. It got cut up pretty bad.

So I mean it's really up to you. I would say go with the Reelmagik soft 4.5 and try it out. It might not be your thing upgrading from the Mr. Limpy. It's quite a bit heavier. However, that may be something you're interested in along with its realistic appearance. Hopefully this gave you some things to think about. Good luck.
