So in the next 4 weeks I'm probably going to have to tell the surgeon what size breast implants I want.

The guy I'm going to uses silicone and under the muscle with the incision below the breast.  I asked about implanting from the armpit but he said it's more difficult to get things right that way.

So, ladies, with that in mind, what size to get is my only real decision.  (Yes I could request saline and above and from the pit, got I'm putting my life in this guy's hands). I'm 5'6" (1.68m) 145lbs (66kg) with a 36" (0.915 cm) bra size.

Suggestions?

One consideration is that I don't want to enter a room before I get there but do want some cleavage.

I was thinking 250cc or maybe 300cc but would like to know what others have done and your experiences.

I am comfortable being small but buy yourself a big bag of rice and put it in some nylon hose then figure out just how much you want. You may also need to buy an extra bra or two in order to see what it will look like on you.

I think you should target 36c at most (judging by your weight-height ratio, you are not too skinny yet not overweight - 36c is a good average size), not sure how many cc's it means (I'd live those details to a pro if we're in your shoes).

If there's still a possibility for natural growth, than maybe error on a smaller side (36b?).

I assume you have done a fitting in the plastic surgeon's office, right?  Usually, they are fine with you taking pictures, but  if not, definitely do "rice boobs" or Natrelle, or something similar.  If you haven't done a fitting yet, go in, start small and when you say, "whoa...too big", that's probably your size (remembering they look about 10% smaller once internal).

There are several internet sites devoted to BA. One of the best is "Implantinfo".

They have many pictures on line, submitted by both surgeons and women who post their own pictures. The pictures can be sorted by size of implant or body type. It will give you a good idea of what to expect for any given size implant.

BTW, the most common comment by women who had BA, is that many of them wish they had gone larger!  :o

Thanks for the site.  Will check it out while on WiFi.

I've heard the "everyone wishes larger" but I have a shape in mind and too much is too much.  Would like to over fill a B and nicely fill a C.  My wife complained a lot when she was a D and I want to avoid that.  Besides I may naturally grow more.

I tend to agree with others that a C cup is about it, followed by how full of a C cup. Then there is the shape of the boobs making a difference in how they look.

My boobs, for lack of a better word, are Wall-Eyed. I have a big rib cage and they tend to be and point out to the sides. With the right push in and up bra I am for the most part happy with my for real almost B cup size. To get the cleavage I really want I doubt a simple Bag-O-Juice will do the job alone. I had a g/f with a D to DD and like your wife they can be a big pain.

In an ideal world, a nice full C is my ideal for my big bone 6ft frame. As with most things in life, I work with what tools I have.

I'm a strong advocate of whatever makes you feel comfortable. I second the rice test to see where you want to be. People will look more often the larger you go. Just a little food for thought.

If you people watch tall and somewhat slender women, you'll probably notice that many are an A to a B. While Cs and Ds have a bit more draw, the crowd are rocking Bs, and getting attention.

I'm 5'11, so on the taller end of the spectrum, and 156 lbs. I'm still considered thin. While I don't have the projection I want without a bra, I wear a B cup rather complimentary to my waist/hip ratio. Going too large up top makes me look more masculine adding bulk to my upper torso opposing my already slender hips.

A full length mirror and a couple different cup sizes will help a lot with deciding what's right for you.

So, my surgeon wisely advised me to ignore the cup size and look for the implant that would be wide enough at the base, where it sits on my chest, to properly fill that area to look proportional.  So, given that goal, and how mine look now having used that as the only guide for how big of an implant to get, I would advise you to use that as your only gauge.  Testosterone makes our chest walls larger than cis females, so if you go for just a cup size, you may end up with non-proportional looking breasts.
Some people say I'm apathetic, but I don't care.

This girl has the right idea.

Size in terms of CC is not really going to give us a good result every time. Some of us have a small rib cage and others larger, with most having a medium sized chest. Using the base diameter as a first measurement and then go with low, medium or high projection to get the size you feel most comfortable with is, in my opinion, the only way to properly size implants.

+1

I did the fitting in the office with the implants and a sports bra.  It didn't look right until the base is wide enough.  I am scheduled for surgery 9/21.  I'm going with low projection.  I'm guessing I'll be about a C, but they tend to look smaller once under the muscle.
