Hi Amy!

It's great to hear you are starting HRT in two months.  My endocrinologist had a two month waiting list, I just started HRT yesterday.  I began permanent hair removal 3 years ago (I am MTF).

I have learned so much here from others.  Also I have found by sharing some of what I have experienced, I discover more about myself.

See you around the neighborhood!

Dear Amy;

Welcome to Susan's!

Exciting to be getting started, isn't it?  It may also be a little scary from time to time, but we can help out a little bit.

If you have questions on hormone replacement therapy, you will get the best response to your questions by asking them over in our Hormone Replacement Therapy forum for our transitioning members.

Awww, thank you all for taking the time to welcome me. I am indeed happy of becoming an active member here at Susan's place (trust me; I've been lurking on this site for about 8~10 years lol).

@Michelle_P thanks for sharing the links; I saw them elsewhere last night but a second glance will not hurt.

Hi Amy,

I'm Laurie unofficial greeter for this site. I am also MtF and started HRT last December Welcome to Susan's Place ((HUG)) Come on in and have a seat. Here try this one Comfy? It's Moni's (I thiink that's her name) she isn't doing a whole lot of sitting atm. Something about the alphabet... she keep talking about srs or gcs or some such nonsense I can't quite relate to. Anyway I hear she obsessed with donuts too. I just can't understand That Woman. Whateva, it means she won't be wanting that chair for awhile.
  So starting HRT in September are you I bet you can't wait. I've read about the anticipation being excruciating yet in a good kind of way. Me? well I just got some and started taking it then started getting excited as the changes began. It is a wonderful ride Amy. You will see, you will see.
  Please make yourself at home and join in on the conversations. If you need some help, you'll find it here. If you need some information, you'll find it here. If you just need some friends and good conversation, you'll find them here. I know these things because I've needed them all. On top of that you can help someone else by sharing what you experience and have gone through in your personal experiences.  Okay, done preaching. Welcome Amy, welcome home.

Hugs,
   Laurie

Well Laurie, the above paragraphs are the only ones I cared about and, honestly, I can feel the love. Yes, there are lots of information on this site, and the community present in here makes it easier to navigate through.
Anyways, I'll be sharing my experiences for sure, and I'm super interested in your journey as well. It will be awesome, and I can't wait to experience it all  🤗😍💞.   Xoxoxo!!!

Welcome to the forums.  Hope you enjoy the place. I bet the time span until you start HRT is going to be super slow.  That's how it feels for me. Good luck.
