So happy for you Noleen, did you get married resently. I remember you posting about being engaged, I'm now married 7 years to my man, longer than some of my friends.
Your dress is gorgeous Ashley, the non traditional look really suits you, very pretty and feminine. My husband comes from a very traditional family, his sister, now my sister-in-law was my bridesmaid, she organised my dress, my hair and makeup was done professionally, I slept with hair rollers in my hair overnight, the stylist arrived the following morning and took them out, leaving my hair bouncing with waves and curls. It was a very traditional wedding, I just followed my bridesmaid advice, I wore a white satin lace wedding dress with short puffy sleeves, long lace wedding gloves covering my arms, I never heard of a blusher veil, but that was my something borrowed, my sister-in-law cousin wore it at her wedding, so I was given it to wear at mine, basically a long white veil that completely covered my head and face, my oldest brother gave me away, I remember linking him tightly going up the aisle afraid I might trip, the veil fabric was nylon netting and was diffircult to see, but it's tradition in my husband family for the bride to be completely covered in a white veil till vows are exchanged and the wedding sermon over, then new husband lifts the veil and kisses his new bride, that was a special moment. Special moment in his family when a new bride is unveiled I saw nothing walking up the aisle, my veil restricted my vision lol, but when my veil was lifted I saw everybody, and everybody's eyes on me, completely the centre of attention, very daunting. A very traditional and unusual sermon, but the best day of my life, my sister-in-law got married 2 years after me, I was one of her bridesmaids
