I'm a bit confused in my gender identity. I feel both male and female, but without truly identifying as any of those. I'd rather say I'm in between, somewhere closer to female than male. I want to start HRT to become more androgynous. What does that make me? Is there a label of some sort for this kind of gender identity?
Thanks for your help^^

Devlyn

You describe yourself the same way I do, except I wanted the HRT for feminization of my body. I really haven't settled on my identity and I describe myself as genderfluid/non-binary/two-spirit. Which is a bit of a ridiculous mouthful and only comes out if I am explaining it to someone who's friendly and curious.

You can't have the Devlyn label, it's taken!  ;)

Awh^^ I guess you're right, somehow we're all different and unique :)
I don't know, I feel like associating with a label would make me feel less alone in my situation, haha! But I guess turning it around and feeling more unique is a very good feeling too! And we don't really need a label as everyone is different...
Heheh I'm sorry, I think I'm reflecting too much, but I think you're right.
I'll try the Kiran label then, haha^^

It's  nice finding the label, but like in my case, it isn't nearly as much fun using it.

I'm Devlyn. That's usually followed with "You've been warned."  >:-)

Labels. Oh give me. I love em like cookies.

Im a smoker
Im a Mental health support worker
Im a joker
Im a Susans member
Im a person
Im an ideot
Im a genius
Im a girl
Im a gamer
Im a guitarist

Im sure somebody wrote a song like that.

But labels are good it helps us find people with similer interests and views. Helps us socialise. But the thing with labels is some people see these labels as a "your all the same mentality" rather then the reality of diversity

Thanks to all of you^^
Yeah, I think I'd prefer living as myself, and stop worrying... it will probably be easier when I'll finally have the right body^^ I guess therapy is more than just switching  hormone balance.

If it were simple and easy, one thread would do it. You may notice I have over 11,000 posts and other than a few in the voice section and 3,500 in the moderator area, the remainder are helping people deal with the problems they face in transitioning. I may not post much in your thread but I keep an eye on anybody who is active on the site.

You got the words wrong.

The Steve Miller Band Lyrics
"The Joker"

Some people call me the space cowboy, yeah
Some call me the gangster of love
Some people call me Maurice
Cause I speak of the pompitous of love

People talk about me, baby
Say I'm doin' you wrong, doin' you wrong
Well, don't you worry baby
Don't worry
Cause I'm right here, right here, right here, right here at home

Cause I'm a picker
I'm a grinner
I'm a lover
And I'm a sinner
I play my music in the sun

I'm a joker
I'm a smoker
I'm a midnight toker
I sure don't want to hurt no one

I'm a picker
I'm a grinner
I'm a lover
And I'm a sinner
I play my music in the sun

I'm a joker
I'm a smoker
I'm a midnight toker
I get my lovin' on the run
Wooo Wooooo

You're the cutest thing
That I ever did see
I really love your peaches
Want to shake your tree
Lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey all the time
Ooo-eee baby, I'll sure show you a good time

Cause I'm a picker
I'm a grinner
I'm a lover
And I'm a sinner
I play my music in the sun

I'm a joker
I'm a smoker
I'm a midnight toker
I get my lovin' on the run

Wooo Woooo

They say I'm doin' you wrong
Well don't you worry, don't worry, no don't worry mama
Cause I'm right here at home

You're the cutest thing I ever did see
Really love your peaches want to shake your tree
Lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey all the time
Come on baby and I'll show you a good time

I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Started HRT April 17, 2019.

I qualify for many labels, depending on one's personal definition quirks; nonbinary, gender fluid, agender, bigender, partial transmale, androgynous, etc. It all boils down to my having both male and female modes, but mostly staying in a mixed gender mode, leaning more toward male.

I'm bio female, but feel about 60% male, 40% female, depending on what "mode" I am in.

Sexual orientation labels: asexual, gray demisexual, panromantic. These labels mean that the thought of sex with any gender is revolting, but I can fall in love with anyone or anything, although without lust. The "demisexual" label means that I can feel sexual attraction after more than a year of an exclusive romantic relationship, and only with one person at a time. In my case, my libido is extremely strong, just without gender, or any specific orientation.

I was exploring the site and noticed this thread has the same title as the username I chose. I am glad I found it.

I am similar to the original poster, KiranFox, in that I am anatomically male, have always felt more female than male, but I don't really have a problem with having a male appearance (though I would not mind appearing slightly less masculine). I feel like I'm somewhere in between.

The concept of nonbinary makes sense to me. I will be exploring it further.

Megan.

Another AMAB here.  I've transitioned to help with my dysphoria,  and although I certainly identify as more female than male, it's probably not an exclusive identity. I'm not a fan of labels,  but they can help others to at least partially relate to me. I use the most generic ones,  because anything more might be either innacurate or not fully cover my identity.

Holy moly, you bear a striking resemblance to me in your avatar pic! My hair is short, but otherwise we look very much alike.
