I have been on HRT for about six months. Decrease in nocturnal erections happened pretty quickly. It was almost nonexistent until a few weeks ago. Now it's happening almost every other night. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about any other factors, like stress or blood pressure, that would impact this issue. I am seeing my Dr. the end of this month and will get my levels checked and ask about it. I just wanted to both get this out and try to get some feedback. It is distressing, but I've been too embarrassed to talk to anyone in my life about it. So any suggestions or feedback about coping with it would be appreciated.

For me during, my 15 months HRT, it is just a "comes and goes" situation. I didn't have them for a couple months, now it's nearly every night. Not predictable at all. As usual, it's YMMV from what I understand...

Thanks. It helps to know that it is something that can be variable. I guess I just need to deal with it and wait for it to go again.

Identical situation. I thought my T had gone back up but test reveal less than 30 ng/dl. I've been told it shows you not only have excellent circulation but that you will have a tendency to be more orgasmic post op. That's a nice upside ;)

Nothing to worry about, I'm post-op and I have clitoral erections/engorgement despite T levels being VERY low.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005
