I was reading Freebird's thread on how her boobs are suddenly springing out into the world https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,226521.0.html and it did bring back memories (or is it mammaries?) of those lovely early days.

I think us oldies can get a bit 'been there done that' which is sad so lets have a reminisce and a laugh.

After about 2 years I went back to my Family Dr who had started me on my life as me. He was a lovely man who had looked after my health and cared for me for many years and when I finally got the courage to tell him that I was TG, I think that he finally knew why I had a history of depression and alcohol abuse. He was so glad that I was finally happy.

Anyhow he called me in to the office from the waiting room and I had cycled to the clinic so I was wearing lycra and tight lycra at that. Hey I like the bod, I show it!

He looked over his bi-focals at me, smiled and said with feeling "Great Rack."  Immediately blushed and we both laughed our way to his desk.

So what are hear your stories!

Well before I had boobs I used silicone breast inserts. I was at Walmart with my dad and I bent down to get something and both of them fell out of my bra and hit the floor with a smack. These 2 guys saw it happen and started laughing. I just ran for the car. A couple of minutes later my dad got in the car and handed me my breast forms. He was laughing so hard he was crying. Then once my aunt Barbara was visiting and she hadn't seen me since I had first transitioned. She was looking at my chest and told me my boobs looked good. Then she started feeling them and kind of bounced them a little. She said they felt totally real and asked me what they were made of. I told her they were real. When she had seen me last I had the silicone breast forms. I guess she didn't think about me developing real ones. To say she was embarrassed wouldn't cover it. My dad thought it was hilarious and teased her the rest of the day.

9 years ago, I went for my first mammogram. While the technician was squeezing my boob in between the glass, I joked that the previous week I had had a prostate exam.
"Imagine if I could get both tests done at the same time." She laughed.

Ha - I got the "Great Rack" remark from my dad after seeing a picture of me (A cup but with push up)... in our family What's up chat...

He is well known for slightly inappropriate remarks. Still made me smile...

I'm still pre-hrt, but I actually have a silly story I'd like to share!

Just yesterday I was texting with my mom.  She's pretty new to the internet/world of emojis and such, and so she's been using them a lot.  I thought it would be fun to use an emoji right back at her.  She already knows I'm trans, and so we had the following conversation:

Me: Mom guess what
Mom: What?
Me: I want [swimsuit emoji with large breasts]
Mom: I know
Me: I wanted to make you laugh!
Mom: It made me smile
Hey all, I've created a new account because my life has begun anew.  This is to protect my identity.  Thanks for your understanding!

I try to get out late in the day and walk a mile or two for exercise. I live in a rural area so I often take a gravel road nearby that is rarely used. I will take off my shirt when there is no traffic and let my boobs bounce a while in the open air. It's a nice sexy feeling that I enjoy every once in a while. But I have to be sure no one is around as my chest is completely womanly in appearance and shape and projects a lot. I carry my shirt in my hand and keep ready to slip it on quickly if I hear traffic. Recently I was heading back home when I heard a weed eater suddenly start up. I looked down the hill to see an elderly neighbor glancing up at me. I just nonchalantly slipped on the shirt like nothing was wrong and kept going. I didn't really care that he saw me at that distance but it made me be more aware for future walks. Stay healthy!  :)

This may not be quite as amusing as other stories:

To this day, I will be changing from my clothes to a nightgown, in front of my husband. The only thing that makes him stop talking (people he works with compain that he never shuts up) is when I remove my top and bra. He just sits on the bed and gawks. After my boobs are covered by the nightgown, he shakes his head and starts talking again.

I recently had breast implants. I was in a mechanical main space and a plumber came up to me ( he is about 6 inches shorter than me). He kept looking perpendicular to me; I was facing him, making eye contact to the side of his face. He said I really looked good and the beast implants looked really good. He was very nervous and his face was bright red. We talked for a while and he was very nice but never looked at me straight on. He was very nervous.

He made my day.

Probably Not the same.

But before I was on hrt, I used breast forms, and I was at work one day and a cis woman was ajusting herself, they looked at me and said isnt it awkward when you boobs fall out of your bra.

I looked at her and said you got it easy, She became confused and I left it a moment before saying. When yours fall out, they don't fall off.

A few years ago my hair was very long. I loved to put it in pig-tails with ribbons and wear only the bottoms of my bikini when swimming. I induced a lot of whiplash when they realized I was male!

I Am Jess

During the first few months of my transition I was using forms.  One day when I was out for an afternoon jog on a busy street in our town and it was really hot.  I was sweating pretty good when all of a sudden I feel my left form slip out from under my sports bra and it hits the sidewalk in front of me and starts bouncing.  I had to quickly grab it and stuff it back in the sports bra while a bunch of cars were driving by watching me.

Needless to say I scheduled an appointment with my plastic surgeon shortly after that and even though I had only been on HRT for 6 months I got implants.  No more boobs bouncing on the sidewalk for this girl.....

I haven't seen the movie The Runner Stumbles.  It's on my list because my weekend home is a few blocks from the Brick Tavern in the town where it was filmed.  Thanks Jess, now I'll never think of that movie title quite the same way...

A few months into HRT I learned it was no longer appropriate to answer the front door bare chested, from the expression on the mailman's face... He is still my mailman, great person totally non-judgemental.

I also learned the hard way it was time to start wearing a sports bra to work when I got an accidental elbow right up under my boob. I don't know which made his eyes pop open more, the boob that was resting on his elbow or the lightning fast speed at which his arm jerked away.

There is my poignant moments too, every time I am past tired to the point of total exhaustion and flop down onto the bed on my stomach... That HURTS. At least I can still sleep exhausted on my side. Regular sleep has always been on my back so no change there but still makes me sad 'cause they disappear, poor lil boobs.  :(

I'm loving these stories.  I can't wait to have one of my own, because then, as embarrassing as the story will likely be, it means that the journey will have been worth it.
