Hi all. Im 27 yo mtf transexual from Malta. Will be undergoing SRS with Dr. Phil Thomas in Brighton UK october this year.

Id like to ask whether one would still have a libido after d procedure is done? And orgasms? Are they possible at all? Id very much appreciate if any of u could give me a hand with these concerns as these doubts are absolytely killin me!

Thanks

Yes and yes. The O is even more intense than before. But you have to re-learn your new anatomy. My suggestion is to focus on what in your mind pre-op that aroused you and work your way from there.

I was told if you could before surgery, you probably will be able  to after. For some, a bit of testosterone creme can be used if libido is low.

I did not have an orgasm pre-gcs for 2 or more years. I had one Thursday night and one Friday morning. Post GCS I had to relearn how to have an orgasm.

Hi Charlotte,

Welcome to the site.

Glad you are here. Good questions. I don't have the experience of many of the ladies here. However, nearly every topic like this one specify 2-3 things:

1) every person's transition and surgery is different so there is no absolute answer

2) You have to re-learn your body and what feels good both physically and mentally. The most erotic part of your body is often your mind. Some times it needs to be re-mapped a little.

3) I have heard of some post op ladies having a higher libido after than they did before. Once again. That is a your mileage may vary.

It seems that most post op girls are able to. I wish I could look you in the eyes and say with absolute certainty that you will have libido and orgasms. Sadly, none of us know for sure. However, statistically, it is very likely.
