We've all seen the amazing transformation videos of a very masculine man into a very feminine woman  but I'm not convinced that they tell the full story. For example, if the man is already relatively lean - 6' 1" and 12 1/2 stone, with a 38" chest and 35" hips then he's already onto a winner when it comes to gaining a feminine physique.  HRT will add a little bit fat to his hips and narrow his waist and strip some of his chest and shoulder muscles to make him look more balanced. He could easily end up with 36" chest and 36" hips.

What about those of us who do not fit that schematic? I am 5' 8" with a 41" chest and 34" waist. I like to think with a strict diet I could shave my chest down to 40" and hope I get 2 inches on my hips (although I know that is a bit of a reach at my age -  even taking into account that I will be on the injections).

I know many of you have the same in balance as I do, the same body dimensions as myself and just don't care - and all power to you – but I do care so why would like to know is:

Is there anyone, on this forum or on YouTube, that started out with the same physique what has managed to make themselves look feminine? Have they managed to do away with the broad chest and shoulders? Have they managed to balance out at the bottom of the top half? Insured, is there any hope for those of us who want to look feminine all over?

It depends on how much body fat you have right now.  While I wasn't obese when I started I did have excess fat and have since lost about 40 lbs.  I've lost nearly four inches off my rib cage from 39" to 35.5" and 6.5" off my waist from 38" to 31.5".  My upper chest reduced from 42" to 38".  Everything else has gotten smaller too although my thighs and legs changed very little (a good thing in my opinion).  For reference I'm 5'11" and started at about 205 lbs and am about 165 lbs now with diet, running, and strength training in the gym mostly focused on my lower body.

Love is not obedience, conformity, or submission. It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being....  - Dan Barker
