Hi girls 🙋🏼 I've started on hrt for several weeks now and besides for an "awareness" of my chest muscles, not much physical has happened.  When it comes to mental changes, I would say soon after starting I become at peace with my transition.  I also yesterday attended the funeral of my father in law and I wept the whole time.  I would say my emotions have changed for the better.
Hugs, Jessica 🙋🏼

  Hi Jessica,

I'm sorry for your loss and fully understand the waterworks and your comment about emtions changing for the better. As a man I did not cry over the death of my dad until I spread his ashes in the ocean as was has wish. He was a career Navy man. I also was unable to must many tears when my mother passed from cancer those it was horrible watching her slip away so full of morphine that she was no long there for many days prior to her body giving up. No one should have to experience that. Today however I can shed tears with just the thought of them. I miss them still. Just relating this to you has brought the tears to my eyes.
Yes, I agree my emotions have changed for the better for now I have emotions i can feel.

(btw we call crying "ocular leakage " here.)

Hugs,
   Laurie

Thank you Laurie, I didn't cry at my dad funeral either.  I feel a sense of relief that I am more in touch with my emotions but I've heard of some women having a hard time with their own emotions at different times in their transition.
