Dress shopping

So long story short... I'm invited to be in a wedding of sorts and kinda made the maid of honor.. so with that being said. How do I get myself in a dress shop to pick out and get sized up! I'm as far as taking the other girls and making a group decision then just saying that yes one is for me.. sounds good right?

Assuming that all of the girl parts of the wedding party will not be wearing like dresses, what a cool opportunity to express your individuality in support of your friend's big day. If you can group help on picking the dress, all the better. It sounds like you are on the right track.
