First off I just need to say Hello I'm Jessica or Jess....whatever you prefer.

Well a little bit about me- I'm a STEM girl and work keeps me busy but hey I like it that way. I'm a light-hearted person that just wants to leave this place better than I found it and I can be a bit silly at times:P As far as interests well...I am rather passionate about music and shopping.  If I'm being honest I never have any clue what to write in so I don't even know what you are gonna get.

SO my transition... I'm 1 month hrt but before I was full-time for 10 months. If i got anything from having to throw the old boy mask back on for a short bit, its that this is the right path and I will continue to fight kicking and screaming, tooth and nail for this.

Now that you've heard, or read me gab, I'd love to get to know you! I'm also an open book just ask!

I refuse to let negativity define me, I've let enough of others define me for long enough, I'm going to be the person I set out to be even if that means I drag myself kicking and screaming over thresholds to become the most amazing version of me.
Cheesy? Maybe... but why should that stop me ;)

Hi Jessica,

I'm Laurie, mtf and I'd like to say welcome to Susan's Place. ((Hug)) come on in the waters fine. Okay okay if we had water it would be fine. Well we do have water in the tap and coffee and hot water for tea on the counter. Grab a chair. Yeah that on is fine. It's a little beat up and broken in with some stuffing coming but, well you see it's Devlyn's and she's been here an awful long time. No, no she, they, he (dang you would think I'd know by now) won't mind she into standing up a lot at the moment.(lol)
Hey congrats on starting HRT and your effort at full time before. You didn't say if you are back to full time. I my self have been full time for about 2 1/2 months. Welcome again, glad you are here.
I'll add some links and information below that can help you get more out of our site. Please take time to become familiar with them especially the RED one as we are always getting questions that are answered there.

Oh wow hello Everyone!!!

First off... I totally agree Jessica is a beautiful name ;D

V M thanks and I'll take a look, a little review of safety protocols is never a bad thing. I do like a bit of anonymity so I don't give out too much, just enough :)

Laurie... If I was drinking I might have snorted out a little water :P Thanks its very exciting, and I can't say I don't giggle a bit when things began to shift but I'm only human. I'm not fully presenting as boy or girl atm more of a I just lost weight nothing fits, but I'm gonna be me anyhow. Basically I'm living with transphobic people that think i'm 'over it' saving a bit of money before I take off. I'm going to tell them when I leave and let them decide if they want to continue being family or if we'll go our separate ways. It's one of those prepare for the worst and hope for the best situations. I have really close friends that accept me so that helps.

Nice to meet you Julia, you know as much as we can on a forum board
