Ro

hi friends

to be honest, I've been avoiding joining communities like these for a while just because the internet has been my escape and I felt that this would be like... breaking the barrier or something. that's been happening anyway though and now I think it's a better idea to just, like, accept it and talk with others who've felt the same and could probably help in some ways

so here I am! you can call me Ro, which isn't an allusion to my name, I'm just still shy and wanted to go with something anonymous and ambiguous. I think it's cool and yes, short names are super neat to me, okay? I'm a twenty-something t-girl on hormones as of kinda recently. I was going to find a decent picture for my avatar since I noticed everyone doing it, but I guess newbies don't get those :( maybe some day; until then you'll just have to assume I'm a beautiful flower made of sunshine and joy

my favorite color is blue

 Hi Ro,

I'm Laurie and I'm here to say welcome to Susan's Place. (Hug)  Do come on in and find a seat to be comfortable in. You are correct in assuming a new person cannot post and avatar immediately. That will come after you have made 15 quality posts but let me caution you that  padding the posts to get there is frowned on. We prefer 15 posts where you are really participating in the conversation. There are several other limits place on new folk but they are covered in the info I will provide you below.  I am glad that you are here and decided to join in with us.
Below are the  links and information below that can help you get more out of our site. Please take time to become familiar with them especially the RED one as we are always getting questions that are answered there.

Hello Ro!  Welcome to Susan's.

I am so glad you joined.  I also hesitated at first and then found my own path was sooooo much easier when I could talk to others who had been through similar experiences.  I remember when 15 posts seemed like a mountain to climb but now people can't get me to shut up. ;)

I am MtF and my favorite color is purple - my hair has purple highlights with a touch of dark blue.  I tell people that's my natural hair color and wait for them to laugh but a few people ask "really?" and take me seriously.  Life is full of surprises.

Great to meet you!
