Has anyone on here had SRS with Bellringer in the UK? Any thoughts or experience are greatly appreciated. I ask because I had my SRS with Bellringer a year ago, and i'm extremely dissatisfied with my outcome. Would like to know if anyone else is in the same boat. Christs sake, i'm beyond fed up at this point.

Thanks.

I've heard this kind of thing quite a few times over the years. Here's one link. I'll pm you a couple more.

James 'what's a clitoris?' Bellringer ...

At least, that's what they say about him.

Fact is, I doubt you're really going to get top treatment from anyone in the NHS. Some Thai surgeons are at the top of the tree, as are doubtless others in the US, South America and some parts of Europe.

Can you get any corrective work done to repair the damage?

Funny, because my actual issue is my lack of clitoris LOL. I've been back to the clinic and the nurse (Iffy) has said that the skin healed over it, and they're planning a procedure to uncover it.

Oh lord. I'm so sorry to hear this :(

I really hope you can get the revision you need.

I had SRS done by Mr Bellringer at Charing Cross in 2010 and have been very happy with the result.
Both Mr Thomas and Mr Bellringer produce near identical results and have the same low rate of problems or complications.

I think that transwomen often have a mental image of an idealised pudenda which actually is not very common even for born women.   There is a website called "The Clitoris" which is intended to help born women with any questions they have about their bodies.  If you search, there is a large gallery showing all of the natural variations.  You might be very surprised.  The inner labia of some women are extremely close to no-existent, whilst some others have an inch and a half dangling from the cleft.
What you learn from this site is that basically as long as there is a bit of a crease and some sort of hole then you do fall into the range of "natural"

As far as I am concerned, the surgical result Mr Bellringer achieved with me has been perfectly fine.
I had no problems healing, have a sensitive clitoris, am pretty much self-lubricating and am multi-orgasmic.

For some years, I have moderated at Transgenderzone and posted pictures and some commentary on there.  Due to threats from a prudish Google, a secondary "Adult" site had to be created and any naked photos - even breasts! - moved there.  I'm pretty sure that those close-up pics of my pudenda are still up if you want to hunt them down.

Yes, some of the Thai surgeons do amazing work and do create an IDEALISED pudenda and the results from UK NHS do not have as good an appearance.  :-)
- That said, two of the worst results I have ever seen came from the leading Thai surgeon and they were utterly appalling - I could probably have produced a similar result myself with nothing but a Stanley knife, and the pics I saw were after one revision had already been done!  In addition, one of the complainants was being fobbed off by the surgeon and/or his secretary.
I have never heard any such complaint made against Mr Bellringer.

I did in fact go back for a very slight revision myself.  Although all else was fine, the fourchette (lower vaginal edge, closest to the anus) was a little high and I had to push down slightly to insert a dilator.  This was merely a consequence of my own anatomy as that lip will be where the edge of your scrotum is.   I perhaps might not have even bothered had Iffy not asked me about it.  Once the subject and offer had been made, I thought I might as well get it done.  Mr Bellringer knew exactly what this slight issue was before he even inspected me.  He told me that the actual time he would spend cutting and sewing would be less than 5 minutes, but I would need an overnight stay anyway due to the anaesthetic.    This slight revision did also result in an improvement in appearance.

I will say though...... whilst it is only natural that one frets about what the appearance of the surgery is or will be, the vast majority of born-women do not concern themselves overmuch with what the actual structure of their body looks like down there.
If your life as a post-op transwoman sucks, the problem is unlikely to be within your panties.
Most men will never notice or query it anyway.  I have never spoken to a transwoman who passes well who has been outed by an ugly fanny.  :-D
NEVER!
I have however heard many transwomen expressing such worries as they head towards their op when in reality they had other serious issues far more worthy of concern - there is little point in worrying about the perfection of your pussy if you otherwise present so badly that everyone knows at first glance that you were born male.

Bottom line - if you totally Pass, then don't worry, no-one will query it.
If you don't Pass anyway then having a picture-perfect pussy will in no way compensate.

To the original poster:  having the skin regrow over your clitoris is a bummer but I am sure that Mr Bellringer will be happy to fix it for you - just be glad that you won't need to fly halfway around the world to get it done.  :-)

btw ....... quite by accident, I stumbled into "being a Mistress" and spent a couple of years doing it.  None of the many submissives who came to me had the slightest problem seeing me - with my NHS fanny - as a woman.
To those who understand, I extend my hand
To the doubtful I demand, take me as I am
Not under your command, I know where I stand
I won't change to fix your plan, Take me as I am (Dreamtheatre - As I Am)
I started out with nothing..... and I still have most of it left.

Steffi, thank you for sharing your experience. I'm slowly moving toward GRS with the NHS, so I'm keen to get as much information as I can on the different surgeons and experiences. Can I ask if your revision was covered by the NHS, or if such things have to be funded privately?

Hi Megan  :-)

My revision was covered by the NHS - any agreed revision should be AFAIK (....I am a little out-of-touch these days)

I found my pics etc, still up although the Adult forum is Locked now.

....you might have to Register on the "normal" TZone forum to get access.
Once in, look for "Surgery Results" topic
