I just needed to tell someone how wonderful my Dad is. He handled it better than me and made me feel completely supported, unjudged and unconditionally loved. He's an exceptional man.

That's fantastic!  I was worried about coming out to my dad, but he was awesome too.  He's even using my preferred name and pronouns now, which took him a while to get.  It's always great to hear stories of people being accepted and supported.  It makes me feel better about the world.

That is awesome news! Coming out to family can be one of the most difficult parts of our journey, that is still on my list of things to do. I am glad you are off to such a great start.

That is so good I am happy for you that he is accepting of who you really are. My dad will never know as he disowned  me when I was 16.

Hi

I am happy for you if somewhat envious. Having the support of parents, siblings and children is awesome and important. Unfortunately for some of us it doesn't happen. So it is with joy for you that I read you success and wish it had been mine.
