So I am now at 2.5 months on low dose IM testosterone. My exams were good both before starting and after 2 months. The screening for trombosys was negative. Still my arms and legs fall asleep often and they feel numb and tingling constantly. Anybody experienced this? My endo does not know if this is T related since my blood is both thick and my red cells are still low (I was anemic before starting). Anybody experienced this?

The only time I experienced this was when I gained a some weight quickly thanks to a brief thyroid issue. It was worse at night lying down, or when asleep, I assume because the circulation was poorer with a lower heart rate, or the weight of lying a certain way would cut off circulation in arms.

Other than along with that condition that I never had this while on T, and I'm on quite a high dose

I have certainly experienced this as well. This eventually developed into weak hand muscles and simple partial seizures that I am still keeping a secret from my doctor. I sincerely believe that because my T levels were undergoing rapid highs and lows when I was on low-dose IM for 2.8 years, it exacerbated the problem. My levels would jump into the 1400s and drop into the 400s to 600s every week.

If I could do it all over again, I would probably speak to a real endocrinologist (I was seeing a general physician) and see what they think about it. Switching to the gel really helped my levels stabilize and I am experiencing significantly less frequently tingling and numb extremities as well as simple partial seizures.

Oh, taking magnesium supplements really helped me have less tingling and numbing sensations. It's one of the symptoms of magnesium deficiency.

Thanks for replying. since yesterday my situation worsened (feet are now red and hot). I will speak to my GP today or tomorrow. I really feel like shortening pause between doses will help, but if not, i will switch to gel.

My real concern is to know if people experienced this. It calms me to know people can have this effect from T and it's nothing harmful or dangerous. I read on Bodybuilding forums that a lot of them experienced this while on T cycle, so maybe it's a sign of levels going up and down...
