UK military/MOD

Is any forum member here a part of the UK military or an MOD civilian employee? If so how were you received when you informed them of your decision to transition? I want to live and serve as Chloe but at same time not wanting to jeopordise my position until I have a plan B employment route if need be xx

Hi Chloe. I can't speak from experience,  but I attended a trans* panel event at the CBI in London in September. Among the speakers was *Caroline Paige*,  one of the first to transition in the armed forces (RAF),  she had massive amounts of praise for all her colleagues.
I'm sure if you Google her,  you can find out more,  but she is out and open working to raise trans* awareness; an amazing woman.
