Myers Briggs personality types percentages for transsexual.

I have been wondering this for a long while now. There is a difference in percentages of types between male and female so it would be interesting to know where male to female transsexuals fall.

I am an INFJ-A. Without the A-advocate I am still an INFJ, the rarest personality type. So it is not really helpful for me to gauge where we are. Only 1% of people are INFJ, 1.5% of women and .5% of men. More women are INFJs than men, but let's be realistic, not by much.

I was just wondering if anyone has ever asked the question and if so what was the result. This is not to see who is more or less feminine, it would be ridiculous to believe that as there are men and women in all 16 types. It's to see if WE, as transsexuals, have a trend in personality types.

Does anyone know of any information on the subject? Or maybe just thoughts?

I have never seen a study but from previous discussions a lot of us, me included, seem to be INFP.

INFPs are fairly rare at around 4% of the population with somewhat more women than men.

My thoughts are that this particular condition my lead many to be INF since it forces so much intense introspection.

Interesting. I used to be INFJ a few years back,  but I have shifted in the last couple of years,  and I now peg as ENTP. My transition has absolutely brought changes in my behaviour and situational approach.

I never thought about the introspection aspect. It would make sense though.

I was thinking more introverted vs extroverted. My guess would be that we tend to be more introverted, introspection would tie in with that. But I was thinking that introverted behavior would stem from hiding or fear maybe. Put together it would make absolute sense that there would be at least some difference.

I have friends that have changed as they grow and mature, though most often it happens over years. Some I have walked away from because the change was... Well to my mind negative. I have taken the test 3 times and all three times have been the same. Maybe I am just weird.

Honestly, I don't know how. I have so much trouble navigating technology that it is like God is intentionally screwing with me. I had thought to but never got past the fact that there are 16! types. I have spent 10 hours or more just trying to post photos, obviously that has never worked well.

Wow!  Changing from I to E is a huge change.

I am INFP.  Seems to me that's what I was last time I checked.  I've always been IN, but I cant vouch for the other letters.

Last time I took it was 2011... ended up being an ENTP, but only slight in every category. E was moderate... guess I was still confused about myself...

INFP-T for Turbulent. Very painful introspection and very topsy turvy emotions. Very painful, but I have managed my emotions somewhat well, without letting the cat out, even though my female emotions have taken over to a large extreme(I have stonewalled personalities that I would not have in the past, due to hrt). I have had to rely a lot more on technical skill and analysis, since my physical strength side went to poo. A lot more female/introspection nonkinetic vs my former male kinetic side.

Even my personality has changed on hrt, I used to be INTJ I believe before hrt.
