Fixed dinner for my new roommate and myself:

Green salad with light Italian vinaigrette
Teriyaki chicken
Basil & garlic quinoa
Sesame asparagus
Berries with vanilla bean gelato
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Yesterday was my husband's birthday, so I decided to make something special...reservations! We splurged on sushi. It was lovely not to worry about the cooking or the dishes and just focus on each other for his special night.

beef in black bean sauce, had some rump steak so 10mm strips fried , green pepper and water chestnuts , packet sauce and straight to wok noodles , pudding was defrosted apple (some I blanched last autumn) with cut up dried apricots and custard

Thing with mayo;  it either overwhelms everything else or you can't taste it.  So what's the point then.

I'm trying to decide what's for dinner, Fruity Pork chops with a pineapple, pear and mango sauce with mash and green beans or Mac n' Cheese with grilled weiner bits and maybe some fries
