at times we do think of going to places we've never been before. has it ever happened to you that you travel to a place anywhere in the world, just by using your mind to travel. what i mean is that you don't actually go to that place, but you imagine yourself at that place for minutes?  plz share..

This is not rare and has actually happened to me on numerous occasions..in fact the first time I went to Denmark there was a church in Copenhagen I swore I had been inside before, I knew the location of items within the church and it wasnt a popularized church....I must also say that more often than so this happens to me with people, I have actually seen someone in my dreams prior to meeting them, for that matter this even applies to circumstances in our daily lives where you can almost predict an occurrence....Coincidence, I think not..we as humans are such intricate creatures, we have yet to explore our full mental potential...

I have imagined myself in Italy, driving a left-hand drive car, speaking the language fluently.  The image was so real, but will this turn into reality?  I sure hope so. It has never been part of my plans though and that is why it feels kinda strange.
It's weird when you have these imaginings, because they are not dreams or fantasy, it is something else altogether.  The thoughts enter your head without any stimuli, like wishing it or talking about it.
But I've just found out today I must be a witch , now this could be interesting, indeed!! ;D

Yes, I have gone places without leaving my chair.

Every so often I would close the door to my office, disconnect the phone, and go to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

I returned many times to what was The Castaways Hotel, where i saw the sun and felt the surf and sand, just like I was really in the room where I stayed.

I've had one case of deja vu.

When driving past a certain street corner in South Norfolk, VA I recognized it and the small restaurant that was there, back off the road, almost in the woods.  I knew that I had been there before but I did not remember when.

I've imagined myself in Spain, sitting in a cafe reading "Don Quixote" in spanish; sipping tea. A gentle breeze is blowing, and a classical guitar CD of "Andres Segovia" is playing in the background.  :)

THEN SOME HOT MATADOR PICK'S ME UP AND WISK'S ME AWAY BACK TO HIS PLACE AND...................... >:D >:D >:D

...well, use your imagination ;D

I always imagine myself in some fictional world I suppose. Escapism was a huge part of surviving prior to transition. I suppose being a gamer and developing video games for a living draws me toward parallel worlds the mind can create  :D

Heaven, hell.  I have met the devil and smelled his breath.  My mind is my best asset.  If I let it go, I will see unbelievable places and people. ;)
