Just created this profile today after a lot of prodding from my therapist.

About me, I'm 44, stuck in Texas, and might be on the road to transitioning from MtF. I will be posting more in a day or so in the "Transitioning" forum as i have a lot to sort through.

I look forward to getting to know all of you ;-)

I'm a 40 y/o mtf from the UK.

Your therapist already sounds very smart with that advice. No one here can tell you what path you should take, but if you read you'll see many different roads others are taking, and that might make yours a bit clearer.
In the meantime, we're a very friendly bunch, please make yourself at home.

Welcome aboard!!!... You've landed in a very good place... Transition is a journey best made with friends at your side and you are amongst them here... A lot of amazing things await you as you move towards a life that better reflects the truth of who you are... I'm in CA but my husband and I usually travel to Austin and The Hill Country a couple times a year... We went to Port A last year ... Sad to see all the hurricane damage there recently
