The not so good looking are first to rip into others.
Its sad but true, that's why there is a hierarchie of beauty in High School.
Its not just because the beautiful are bitches and want to ostratise the others,
its a self created segregation. Self-esteem is related to how you look and
the out of shape and not gifted will tend to congregate together.
In high school, even though I was a total loner. I had no friends and no social life,
I trained 20 hours a week in track and field and studied the rest of the time.
I was the most athletic in a 2000 strong
high school, had the best grades in all levels (student of the year 5 year running), was class representative every year. I was considered good looking (though I never dated anyone in school) and I was tall, so I was included in the most In Crowd of the school of about 20-30.
This in crowd had plenty of haters let me tell you!!!
But, like I said, nobody really selected us, its just like we gravitated together.
