I think I like this thread.
I've always sat with my legs close together, whether folded to one side, tucked under me or crossed at the thigh. I never even thought others might have thought it weird until I read some threads about it here.
Wow, so there is a rulebook for guys? I never knew that. Perhaps that's why they were so disgusted when I tried to hug them in elementary school. I've also always thought that leaning against anyone warm feels really nice when it's cold, and couldn't understand why others didn't feel the same.
That said, I did like many of the Dudesons' shows—probably because they really and truly didn't seem to care what happened to them. I can't really imagine living with them, though.
Actually, now I remember reading some book about how to be a man when I was little. My parents bought a lot of books, and it was one of them. The contents seemed really weird to me—like how men should make refrigerators for their rooms out of old barrels, with an ice compartment on top. And how real men don't smell of anything. I liked perfumes, so I didn't understand why—and only much later realized that maybe the author meant that they should keep clean so they wouldn't smell sweaty. All in all I found the contents pretty distasteful.
