Hi ho neighbors, Moni here! Screw the New Years resolutions since they are  always forgotten anyway. I would like to see if you have a challenge going into the next year? It could be for yourself, a friend here on Susan's (much humor here perhaps), or you could challenge me (oh gosh, dumb Moni dumb)! I am having a flashback here...wait...it's coming...yes, I see it, a make...a makeover for a certain lovable moderator comes to mind from our deep dark pasts.
I have been thinking that I have tackled a number of things in my crazy journey but have left others to be dealt with in their own time. I have gotten very comfortable in many ways living female the last year and a half. I still have not learned eye make up or colored my hair or danced at an adult event, or changed my original ear studs. I think sometimes I need a push. So now that I made that confession and as I formulate my challenge for a lucky one of you, what ya got?
Moni (Now squinting for what may be yet to come. Do I dare hit 'post'?)
If I ever offend you, let me know. It's not what I am about.

I challenge myself to get to my ideal weight of under 140 by the end of February.  I also challenge myself to go full time by the end of the year.  I challenge myself to knit a jughead riverdale hat, and continue to do one a month for cancer patients.

I challenge Nora Kayte to lose her beard before I do.  I challenge others to also choose something they can do to benefit a charity.

you know how far the universe extends outward? i think i go inside just as deep.

10/11/18 - out to the whole world.  100% friends and family support.
11/6/17 - came out to sister, best day of my life
9/5/17 - formal diagnosis and stopping DIY in favor if prescribed HRT
6/18/17 - decided to stop fighting the trans beast, back on DIY.
Too many ups and downs, DIY, purges of self inbetween dates.
Age 10 - suppression and denial began
Age 8 - knew I was different

To move out of here, to Atlanta, and start really living the life I should have always been! Also work up the nerve to pick up some girl jeans in person at a store sooner than later. I want real jeans and don't trust ordering that kind of stuff online.  :-X

Plus a laundry list of other things like weight loss.

Liz, I challenge you to get out from under the evil influence of a certain nameless moderator (Laurie) and say my name right. lol I don't worry about your motivation on the weight loss.
Moanie Moni

Allison, I don't know you yet, but hope to. Give me some hints.

Joanne, I hope you do try. Sometimes it seems that we beat our heads against the wall for no reason but what else can we do. Giving in or giving up is no option.

The things we challenge ourselves to do are challenges because fear holds us back. I guess we have to think of what is realistic. Well, we can take a step can't we, a single step, maybe followed by another?

Roll, what I meant was not at a school event where I dance with my students who can be in wheel chairs. I am scared to dance at like a wedding. The thought that a guy might ask me to dance is terrifying. In the spirit of a small step, I am wearing leggings to work next week. It is small, but I think I am readying myself for something bigger. Still looking for ideas. Not sure I want to steal Laurie's dream of a make over. She is so territorial.

Moni, you pushed me over the edge. And that's a good thing :)
You see, 30 years ago I studied ballet for about 3 years. Started it for sports reasons and ended up really enjoying it. Being the only hetero male in the Academy had its benefits.
Ballet helped me get to the professional level in my sport then I blew out a knee.
Anyways have often thought of going back to it.
This morning I searched my area and found a great place offering adult classes for all levels.
I will start up again in a few weeks.
Thanks for the push.
Devlyn, I belong to a international civic group and we do amazing things all around the world for people everyday.
This particular organization is actually just finishing forming a LGBT fellowship group as we speak.
If anyone wants info Pm me

Angela,
Fantastic, that is so good to hear. I have thought a lot about dance as good exercise and also to allow my body to become more graceful, more feminine and relaxed. Good on you for taking such a positive step.

Bobbisue,
It is so easy to logically know we shouldn't feel shame. Emotionally, it can be harder to get there. Our society doesn't make it easy, but we can do it, right Hon? I'm pulling for you.

I want to be a facilitator for our weekly meetings at Ingersoll. To be able to help the kids so they do not have to go through the things we did. Mostly work on their self esteem, education and ability to get a good paying job. Thanks for the challenge Monica.

I challenge all here to let go of the things within them that do not serve them well...

Fears, negative opinions about what their future holds, self image that causes distress may be amongst these things ... Let the weight of these uneeded things drop away... Gather up hope instead...  Keep it in your heart so it will always be there when you need to give some to others...

Onward we go...

Ashley 💗😀🌸
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment" ... Ralph Waldo Emerson 🌸

"The individual has always had to struggle from being overwhelmed by the tribe... But, no price is too high for the privilege of owning yourself" ... Rudyard Kipling 🌸

Let go of the things that no longer serve you... Let go of the pretense of the false persona, it is not you... Let go of the armor that you have worn for a lifetime, to serve the expectations of others and, to protect the woman inside... She needs protection no longer.... She is tired of hiding and more courageous than you know... Let her prove that to you....Let her step out of the dark and feel the light upon her face.... amg🌸

Moni, easy peasy

Orgasm.

Sell lots of my glass ben wa balls, give away some also.

That latter works well with this:

I sold quite a few ben wa balls (cleverly disguised artistic marble pairs) at an annual holiday sale and just got the ok to bring some for sale to an annual sex themed party.

Helping as many women as possible to reach orgasm in 2018 feels good.
