It can be annoying to have a parent treat their adult children as if they are still little kids. To leave you out of the discussion should annoy you.

Ever since I found my biological mother (and she invited me to live with her), I have stayed with her. When I met my current husband, she told him he would have to move into our house to be with me. At least I was there for that discussion. I sure wasn't going to move into his mother's house in Waco.

Thank you for saying that Julia. If you had the childhood she had you might not say it. I am not saying that you have not had it rough too. I am sure you have and you have told us some of it. But I have also seen how much you are loved by you Dad and your brother. Cherish that girl.
