Has anyone had a bad experience using Herbals?

I ask because I am beginning to be really freaked out.
I am using phyto-estrogen currently,
But several people have said they are dangerous.
However they have only said that they are dangerous because herbals are unregulated and the amounts are not always known.

I don't know if I should take this seriously or not.

I mean, I use eccinacia.
Should I be concerned about that?

It's freaking me out, because these people are like "it's dangerous"
and I'm like "what happened?"
and they are like "..."

It's really freaking me out!
I have seen more than one person say they are dangerous, but they don't say they have ever heard of anyone having a bad side effect.

I really don't know what to think anymore.

I don't know if it's just fear about herbal use in general, or if there really is a real reason to view phyto-estrogen as dangerous other than the "herbals are un-regged" argument.

They just say "they are expenxsive, un-regged, and inefective"
well, I've had pretty good effect, even though they are expensive.

But if they are dangerous, I don't want to use them.
But I don't nessicarily feel that they are herbal and hence dangerous is a legitamite reason.

Does anyone know of anyone ever having a bad side effect?
Like an overdose, or anything noticeable? Someone who got hurt?
This is really important to me. I don't want pass out or somthing if there is known toxic risk.
But I am also hesitant to to throw out an effective means without a good reason.

If anybody knows of anything, please post.

-Thank you so much.

No, but the point is they are of no benefit in the first place. Anyone who buys this stuff is a mug..

Although both commercially produced Estrogens, etc. and the herbals were designed to relieve several female medical conditions they were never designed to treat transsexuals.  Therefore to ensure that TS women are not being harmed by HRT, they are monitored by medical professionals with blood tests and physical examinations and based of the results they are able to regulate doses.  Doctors cannot do this when a patient is using herbals.

Additionally, generally speaking, the amount of the active ingredient present is not of sufficient quantity to have any effect on a persons physical development, although some claim to have experienced positive results.  The danger lies in the fact that to achieve anywhere close to an adequate dose of estrogen from herbals a person would need to take handfuls of the herbals and while the active ingredient probably would not harm the person, the filler material and other elements added would.

Do be fooled, medically prescribed HRT is far safer, cheaper, and a million times more effective.  See a doctor.

I tried some from supplement store online once it must have been loaded with stimulants. I was very nervous, I had trouble doing fine stuff with my hands, and couldn't sleep much. So I don't mess with them. That my experience with them.

Hope this helps,
