I totally love watching the puppy bowl. When everyone else is watching stupid football it's nice to have something cute to watch.

There are no people in the puppy bowl. Only puppies. They put them on this mock football field and they run and chase a ball. Pretty much the same thing humans do in football only cute and fun to watch.

Sounds cute.  My idea of a sports competition would be to put various football (US, UK) teams into an arena, then add Lions, Tigers, and Bears and let them go at it.

The way guys act over football you would almost think it really was life or death. When football is on it's like I cease to exist until its over. I could strip naked, set myself on fire and run around the room and they wouldn't notice unless I blocked the TV. Once I started to ask my dad something and I happened to walk in front of the TV while he was watching football and he threw pretzels at me and he and my brother yelled at me to move out of the way. Of all the rudeness!

I've never really understood all the banter over it.  If I was playing the game it might be different, but to watch and get all excited, nope.

Not gonna lie, having never heard of it, all I could think was this:

As a Kiwi I had to admit that I found the game of Rugby itself a bit of a snore....I loved getting together with everyone and the socialising part but the watching...not so much...don't mind a little but the rugby world cup was on when I was still pretending to be a guy (my family are rugby nuts) and how I managed to pull that off I will never know...lots of nodding, agreeing and dropping the occasional name...my brother even noted..."you always do go missing about 1/2 way through a game don't you" LOL sprung

Lightly grilled. I'm a dog person. Totally a dog person. I prefer them alive and fluffy, to cuddle. Cats, on the other hand... *ponders*

Well, small dogs you can cuddle.  As far as cats go, someone once told me "Cats were good for making Tacos"
