What a hurtful thing to do.
Put a positive spin on it by remembering that now you do not have to stress about "coming out".

You can only be you. You can seldom be what anyone else thinks or wishes you to be.

Your x-wife seems to be a very hateful person.

Hi, Misha!

Welcome to Susan's.

I am sorry that your ex did that.  That was a terrible, hurtful thing to do.  About all you can do now is damage control.

She has put you in an awkward position.  What happens now depends on how well you get along with your co-workers.  Your ability to do the job hasn't changed, so they have no reason to hassle you.

You do not have to explain yourself to them unless you want to.

Please feel free to stop by the Introductions forum to tell the members about yourself.  Here is some information that we like to share with new members:

That was a horrible thing for your ex to do.  I am so sorry she feels the need hurt you by outing you.  Hopefully your coworkers will be reasonable.  Most people have had to deal with toxic & vengeful exes at some time in their lives.   Hopefully they will be reasonable & accepting of the true you.

I am glad that you are happy with the changes that are happening to your body.  Every day, look in that mirror and realize you are more beautiful then before, because you are being the true you.  I hope things continue to improve for you.

Come on in and take a good look around.  Perhaps I can even get you to hop on over to the Introductions Thread and  create a post to tell us a little bit more about yourself so we can get to know you a little better and greet you properly. I'll add some links and information below that can help you get more out of our site. I am so sorry for you, that was a hateful thing to do. I know others can be hurt by our coming out, but nobody has the right to out you to others than you. It is a lot to have to accept at one time by itself!!
Love you all,

REBECCA

Being outed like that is truly awful. But it's not the end of the world, you have to use it! As far as coming out at work it sounds like you just did, so fabulous! Use it, don't just femme up and go to work. Check out how Butch Lesbians dress and kinda go for that style for a while until you find your own. As the HRT works on you wear a little makeup, then a little more, then...  You see what I'm getting at? Start small then work your way to full femme. I've been out and full time for 7 months and at the beginning I was terrified at the reaction other people would have, but boy was I surprised! I cant work anymore but I do have a dog to walk everyday-neighbors. So first it was women's shorts, then a shirt, then shoes, then a girly top, etc. I eased them into dealing with me so the shock factor would be manageable. Now I'm OK with all but 3 of my neighbors. Hopefully this will help you where you work, if they are descent people it will. So don't panic, she has done you a favor, this is the greatest hurdle and your over it!
I finally get to be me, and I don't want today to be my last! That's a very nice feeling.  ;D ;D ;D

Just flip it around.
That old thing? I feel sorry that she has to get through the day trying to make people as miserable as possible.

And finish that until you have anything to say, carry on, nothing to see.
Turn to page 137:
You enter the room, Rumples slowly turns to face you, tilts her head and let's out a slight smirk. Everything you were, are, and ever will be disintegrates into absolute nothingness.
Your adventure ends here.
