My apologies if this is the wrong forum for this but as I only seem tof post here it makes sense.

So this is a thank you to everyone who has answered my questions with what I like. Realistic but not mean answrs.

While I am still very nervous about getting this started (still setting up a GP appointment) I feel positive and comfortable that this is the right way to go.
I can't lie and suppress this anymore. My mind is female so I am female.

I'm scared how people will react but my body matching my mind overweighs that by some way.

Again. Thank you

In my opinion, you have put very well the purpose of this site.

We were all scared (heart racing, dry mouth...) the first time we all posted here.  With time we calm down and start answering questions based upon experience.

Every person here had a hundred questions at the start hoping for sage advice from those who have already been there.

I found that other's questions and answers helped me on my journey as I hope they help you.

Hi Kate,

At this stage is a bit scary. It was my own nervousness for an approaching appointment with my GP that got me started posting here. The support I got from Susan's denizens that helped get me through that first appointment and got me started on transitioning the right way. They have been helping me at every turn and help me still. That is what this site is all about isn't it?
We are here for you and you in your turn will help support others more than you do now. You don't just join a site when you make an account here, you join the community and then become one of the family. So you just stick around girl. you have more of your story to write.

Hugs,
   Laurie

Kate,
One step at a time Girl. It's the best way not to let it seem too big. One day soon you will be surprised that you have done what you thought was impossible. You can do it.
