Today I came across this site that provides medical advice for transgender people.  The person providing the advice is a medical doctor, who specializes in transgender patients.  While they're based in the UK, they'll help anyone, anywhere.

I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Hi Anne. I used Dr Webberley's GenderGP service for a low-dose HRT trial in the summer of 2016.
I was very happy with their service, responsiveness and professionalism. They have a team of experienced therapists and can arrange private (legal) and safe HRT prescriptions via an online pharmacy.
When I used their service, I did so keeping my GP fully informed of what I was doing, and my GP was happy to request regular blood tests for me, to safely monitor things.
Other members here have/are also using the service. I've not personally seen many negative comments, it obviously costs more than the NHS, but it can get things going while you perhaps wait on the GIC queue.

Good luck. X

Sounds good.  However, I'm in Canada and I don't know if her credentials extend to here.  However, she does offer advice to anyone, no matter where they're located.
