unable to add to buddy list?

i tried this last night and again today but i'm getting an error when trying to add someone to my buddy list, i select their name and press enter then it errors.

Is this a known issue or is it just me?

Got it to work. Going to my profile and searching for the username, that way did not work but clicking the add to buddy list on her profile did.

What is a buddy list?

You can add people to your buddy list and they show up in your profile, plus their name will be in bold at the bottom of the pages so you can see when they're online at a glance. To add or remove someone, click on their profile and use the "add/remove Buddy" buttons under their picture.
