Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Congratulations and I hope everyone you came out to was supportive.
You have no idea I am honestly so blessed. They told me how proud they are of me, how happy they are for me, how much they looked up and admired my courage, how beautiful I am, how they have my back no matter what, and just how much they love me over and over again

I've been kinda dragging my feet on coming out for no other reason than fear so In talking to my therapist the other day she challenged me to lean into the discomfort and tell the people close to me and she was right about how good it would feel!

Go for it. I did something similar. Enjoy the moment, and it only gets better as HRT catches up with your mental state. :) It is rather nice to smile at the person in the mirror. Makes it sooo much easier to get through the day.
Every day is a totally awesome day
Every day provides opportunities and challenges
Every challenge leads to an opportunity
Every fear faced leads to one more strength
Every strength leads to greater success
Success leads to self esteem
Self Esteem leads to happiness.
Cherish every day.

Two wonderful events:

First you have come out as you are full of confidence as the time is right but also you received such wonderful support and understanding and such love.

I'm so glad I could brighten some of your days with this good news. I'm a very grateful for the family I have and realize not everyone is even close to as lucky as me.  The best thing I have done to help people with their acceptance is just be total honest, understanding and just like any relationship it's all about communication. Now you have to start with someone who isn't hateful but communication is still so important for even someone who may be accepting . After a couple good hearts to hearts with someone it's much easier to have them in your corner vs just telling them this is how it is and never trying to let them in

Yeah I did and he was totally cool with it! I knew he was bi going into it otherwise I probably wouldn't have gone since I'm only part time right now and am still living as a guy at work and like half of the time outside of work I figured he needed to be okay with guys too lol

Not sure how this will post here but ran across this on FML.

Today, I found out that my girlfriend is actually a man. Not a transgender person, I'm okay with that, but an actual gay man who gets a kick out of pranking other guys. FML
