MY S.O. cautioned me about going out in the back yard without a shirt on as we now have new neighbors and my breasts  are now nice plump "C" cups. Not something I had to be concerned about at one time.

My Sister used my name immediately after coming out to her today.  It's the best present I could ever have asked for.  Happy tears now for hours.

That's awesome Bari Jo - really happy for you!

Remember these days.  Remember the feelings you are having.  They are wonderful memories as you move along the track.  I hope you are enjoying your piercings (not that you can/should change the studs).  Day 3 post piercing I came to the realization I was doing the right thing.

Take comfort my friend and live.

Thanks, yes wonderful memories and feelings.  I have no regrets on my piercings.  It's helping me on my journey to be Bari Jo.  I have always wanted my ears pierced but was always closeted as to why.  Now, as my sister knows the truth, I'm happy she knows it's more than decoration.  It's gender affirming.  So yes, we are the same in knowing this path we take.

Congrats on going to your first meeting--and look, you are already seeing the benefits! I am assuming your avatar pic is of your makeover you got a while ago--lookin' fab, hun!

And Bari, congratulations on coming out to your sister! I have been following your story and it seems like you had been dropping hints (the doll, the mask) for a while. Yay!

It makes my heart sing to see so many happy girls here!!!

Yeah, that photo is from my makeover, in Glasgow Queen St station, out and proud as a woman :). Yeah, I finally have a place I can be myself - this is all happening quicker than I imagined

Yup, you are right, I've been dropping hints for awhile.  I wanted an opening, and finally got it from shear stupidity.  Still happy with their outcome.

Nina, congrats on your support group meeting.  My first one I was so scared and I'm happy you found a safe place.  I'm adding a second support group to my roster.  I need the interaction.  It keeps me sane, as does being a member here.

As many of you do, I play video games with only female avatars.  One game, which I love so much a coworker made me a sackboy from it.  I love the doll.  She asked me to take a picture of my in-game avatar.  Today I'm greeted with this picture.  She's matching the hair from the game.  I love my coworkers!

My friend doesn't hate me!  We aren't sure if we can continue being friends, but she doesn't hate me and for the first time in days I am not a miserable train wreck.

I've been reading Thirteen Reasons Why, it takes a while to get into it, but now I can't put it down. It's serving as a nice distraction from my gender identity issues, just what I need right now

Davina, a photo is an absolute must!

I had my two week post op checkup today.  The doctor is happy, and I got him to pull the catheter.  Goddess be praised, it is good to be rid of that thing!

Now I can wear my skinny jeans and boots!  Yaaay!

Got to tell my commander and first sergeant about my being trans. I don't care how stressful that was, I feel better now. Transition plan will be developed over the week of 3 to 9 December. I'm very excited to finally begin HRT and be on my way to going full time. Squee!

I started organizing pictures of myself from my phone and I'm seeing a lot of pictures from before accepting myself.  I really like where I'm headed!

I showed some pictures to coworkers and they can't believe that was really me.  I love it!
