Thank you.  Everyone's entitled to their opinion and freedom of speech for most.  I did google your comment regarding Iran providing Trans surgery and yes they do.  There's obviously more to it than that of course.

I think it's awesome that you are well-traveled - in my past life I spent some time going places but never the Middle East.

Have a great day!

There is more to it, and some homophobic context which is less pleasing - great if you are a trans woman, but terrible if you are a passive gay man. That fits into the wider notion of active and passive rather than male and female or straight and gay. I think taking that notion away might be chucking the baby out with the bath water. As it is, they are probably in a slightly better position than western societies were 50 years ago to go forward without firm boxes.

Get over there if you can, many of those countries are amazing and beautiful, and not at all intimidating. There are some surprises like the open and funded advocacy of safe sex, the great fashion, and the fantastic looking guys. Amazing handmade shoes to be had as well.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow.

Today two t-shirts came in that I ordered.  I ordered them in womens sizes since I wanted that kind of cut.  What I forgot though was I ordered the size I normally do for men, except in womens.  So I was worried they would be too small.  They fit just perfect.  I am officially a size L in ladies.  My shoulders may be a tad too wide, the the waist, bust and everything else seemed spot on.  Happy girl here.

A few weeks ago I was asked to come to a group photoshoot tonight.  A bunch of photographers have their booths setup, and you show up with a few outfits, and just go to as many of them as you want and ask to be photographed.  But there was one photographer who asked me a few weeks ago if I would come tonight.  So I did.  Brought a couple different dresses, as well as an overbust corset thing.

It was so amazing to be photographed as a "FEMALE" model!!!  Having a bunch of people standing around telling me how beautiful I am, and had one model come up to me and ask if I was just there getting some new stuff to ad to my portfolio.  I said "Yeah, this is my first time doing this, so I'm just looking for some nice pictures."  She said "Well this is a great place to get headshots to give to your agent!"  I was like "Wait what??  My portfolio?? My agent???  Do you  actually think I look good enough to even have a portfolio and an agent!?!?!?!?"  I didn't actually say that, but that's sure what I was thinking!  Ha ha.

I was photographed by four different photographers.  All of them with their own style, and I wore a few different outfits.  Showed more skin than I have ever shown in photographs as well. ha ha.  No nudity though ha ha.

It was truly magical to get to be photographed as the woman I am like that for the first time in my life, and to have the photographers so happy about what they were getting and getting almost ecstatic every time they would take a shot and look at what they just got.  Talk about an extremely affirming situation!!  It felt so good and validating!  And I absolutely cannot wait to see the results!   Only 8 months on HRT, and treated as if I was just a cis woman there.  So incredible......and strange to get used to.  ha ha.

But yes, talk about making a girl happy!!

Signed up to volunteer at Pride Phoenix. My days to do it are just after my first appointment with my endo. ^_^

I got my shoes and skincare products in the mail and I'm having a ball.

Finally, I signed up for Stitch Fix. I'll finally be able to properly build up my wardrobe. ᕦ(。◕‿◕。)ᕤ

Me and my gf had a heart to heart.

There was a lot of tears, but ultimately she supports me and just wants to see me happy :) Even if we don't stay together we're staying in each other's lives which is the best thing I could ask for  ;D

I don't know.  I've gotten lots more compliments since I went red than when I was blonde.

Two things, if I"m allowed two.   ;D

First thing - at work, I notified a few vendors about my name and email change (our emails have our full name in them).  One of the emailed back that they can't change usernames (which are our email addresses)...then about 2 minutes later, I got a second mail from them, "But we can create you a new account.  Here's how to get logged in..."  It shouldn't make me this happy, but there is a lot of people in the world that want to find ways to be kind and that is always a pleasant surprise.  :)

Second thing - again, something that shouldn't make me quite so happy, but the young man at the fast food window ma'amed me 18 hours since I shaved.  It's very possible he was just being very kind, but I'll take it.

What made me happy today?

My girlfriend.

Just being able to type that makes me happy!  This had been an unexpected development for both of us.  We are trans women, lesbian in orientation, and in our 60s.  That is effectively three strikes against us.  Neither of us expected to meet someone.  I certainly never expected to meet someone who would have the romantic interest in me that I need to connect. (I'm a demisexual as part of my orientation.). I never expected to fall for someone, and have them fall for me.

But, in spite of the odds, for some reason, it happened.

We've got these ridiculously strong feelings toward each other, but really don't quite know what to do with them.  Since they surfaced, she's left on an extended trip, but we communicate several times a day.  Neither of us knows where this will lead, what we should do next, or any of that practical stuff.  We are both just enjoying the ride, being able to experience feelings that I thought were dead and gone the past 40 years.

It's one heck of a ride.  Thank you, @Laurie !
