One thing I have noticed, especially for us oldies and maybe moldies, is that HRT seems to be a fountain of youth drug as it seems that the major of us transitioning actually end up looking anywhere from 10-20 years younger.  I am not a doctor so I can say anything about the insides but outsides!!!!!

Yup.  I've had my age estimated in the early 40s by guys, and by photo-evaluating AI software.  I'm 64.

I'll take that as a complement.    Def makes me happy!

I know that my skin if younger looking and that may contribute to friends and those I just met often thinking I was much younger. I also lost some of the fat in my face and toned up the skin. However, I would have thought that the silver hair would have brought the estimate closer to my age, 64! I think that fitness/activity level also contributes to youthful appearance.

Well, I started off prepping all the stuff for the Mac & Cheeze Balls because you have to freeze it for four hours.  Daughter wakes up (only day off this week) and I fix her breakfast. 

She has a habit of leaving dishes in her room which I usually end up going in and collecting and then washing.  Today, however, after she finished eating I mentioned to her about bringing the dishes down and she says there's only three.  I respond, "Who do you think washes them?"  Her response: "My mother!".  I couldn't say anything after that.

Now we're headed out for a couple of errands.  She says she can't use dove and stuff like that as bar soap and I can't keep replacing the razors she doesn't buy.  We've agreed that we'll go 50/50 on stuff we both use.

So, it's kind of a Mother/Daughter outing with the exception that I'm not presenting female in public yet.

I frequently have people tell me I look like in my late 30's early 40's.  I will be 57 in two months.

Reading mine, I was 'cool', 'sistah from anuvva muvva', 'great style', 'where is your belt from?', 'always smiling', 'so positive', 'I love your shoes', 'i wish you were my age so we could hang out' and, 'inspiring and insightful'.

I do have good style I must say, but I wouldn't say I was always smiling and so positive, but they thought so, so now it's pinned to my fridge because it made my day.

I went to see my general practitioner today for a checkup as it had been over 7 months since I had last seen her and to get refills on my meds (Not hormones, That's another doctor).
The last time she saw me I was still dressed as a man and she was the first one I ever told about me and she did her best to help get me on the right path.
She had no idea for the past 6+ months I have been living full time as a woman. I had on a cute low cut pink spaghetti strap top, Pink shorts and a white belt.
When she walked in she saw me then stepped back out the door and looked at the room number and came back in with a puzzled look on her face.
She looked at me and asked if I was (She used my old name that I don't use unless signing legal papers.) I smiled and said yes that was me and told her I now go by Bobbie LeAnn.
She said she was shocked at the change and didn't recognize me lol. She couldn't believe the change in me and how I had filled out.
I showed her my before and after pictures I have on my phone and she called all the other nurses in to show them. She said I looked 20 years younger and that she was so proud of me. She had me smiling from ear to ear.
