Today we had a team meeting at work, but it was really for me to announce my transition. Everything went smoothly. After the meeting I sent an email to 65 co-workers, then left the building. The statement I read along with the email I sent are in the Jessica's Rose Garden thread. Jessica's first day at work will be Monday!

My thanks to all my friends here at Susan's, your support was a tremendous help!

Congratulations Jessica!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I'm so excited for you!!!! I'm so happy everything went smoothly ^.^ Now the hard/fun part comes, what will you wear for your first day?

Much love from Jess to Jess.... Lovely name btw ;P
I refuse to let negativity define me, I've let enough of others define me for long enough, I'm going to be the person I set out to be even if that means I drag myself kicking and screaming over thresholds to become the most amazing version of me.
Cheesy? Maybe... but why should that stop me ;)

Wow, that's awesome!

I'm in a position where I may be coming out a bit sooner than I wanted at work - and am scared you-know-what-less.

Let us know how it goes on Monday!

Let go of the things that no longer serve you... Let go of the pretense of the false persona, it is not you... Let go of the armor that you have worn for a lifetime, to serve the expectations of others and, to protect the woman inside... She needs protection no longer.... She is tired of hiding and more courageous than you know... Let her prove that to you....Let her step out of the dark and feel the light upon her face.... amg🌸
