Has anyone noticed a total crash in appetite on HRT? Ever since I started four months ago I eat 1/3 of what I used to and even that is more than I really want. Not bad when you want to lose weight, but in a month or so I'll have to eat more or lose all the curves I've been working on.

In addition, you might find your body burns fewer calories so you don't lose as much weigh as you would think. We see the reverse with FTMs where their energy levels go up and they consume everything in sight when they start on testosterone. It's why teen age boys are a bottomless pit where as teen age girls eat more but no where what a boy eats.

Estradiol reduces my appetite, progesterone increases it. Since adding testosterone, I've noticed no change in appetite.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

My appetite is as good as ever.  While I normally eat reasonable amounts, I have on occasion, during weak moments, scarfed down up to 5000 calories in the evening.  I really like cream filled cookies and chocolate bars.

Maybe it's a good thing and your body will end up burning some fat away from your waist, making it smaller. Then when you gain fat again in the future, hopefully it will all go to your hips!

It is a good thing. I had way more fat than I needed dropped 50 pounds. Down to getting rid of the last 15 pounds or so. Sadly they are the most stubborn. It all went to the places it was supposed to or went away so far.

I usually yo-yo my diet with cardio and legs, sometimes I'll go a few days on caloric deficite strike (which you have to be careful with, something that has worked for me and I am not recommending). I do this in hopes that I'll gain fat in feminine places. But then other days I'm smashing food and stuffing my tummy, especially in the late evening for some reason...like a mogwai.

Okay. I haven't had sugar for months now so that when I do have any I don't like how it feels anymore. What I really want these days is fruit, vegetables, and protein. Carbs and processed sugars (which I used to love) just look.. bleh now.
