Christmas with the family

It's my second christmas in the role of my chosen gender. Though, only two people in my family know, yet i'll be spending christmas day and new years eve with the biggest part of them.

I have no intention of visiting them all girly, or even for one minute stepping outside my gender role. I dont know what they'll think.

I just wish it was easy to just go out and say exactly what needs to be said and to be able to carry on as normal as if nothing happened, except i'm now their nephew/grandson instead of niece/granddaughter.

How do you cope with family at times like these when they are non the wiser to your decision in life?

But it's winter and then my head would freeze to death! O.o

When i get chance i'm guna kick my ass down to the barbers or something and get it cut. Not had it cut since July cos i've had no money to do so. But now i gots some moneys and i can get a nice simple style (yet not too boring... i hate boring) Maybe something emo... but not quite emo.... >.> I am confusing myself... I shall zip it.

Hi Wishy,
Cloud is pretty hot and so are you and besides don't almost all male anime characters look androgynous?  So even in real life, youre being yourself;an androgynous male right? ...and if your family opens up a conversation by for examle asking "why are you not in a dress" or something like that, and since theyre the ones who started it, I would simply tell the truth.  From my experience, everyone in my family are on the same page of how it "defies nature and that you need to be one with the nature"....well my answer to that is "If nature didn't give me what I want to begin with, why should I be in agreement with it? But if it really bothers you to keep this whole thing inside yourself, then I would cut the long story short, and tell them without any hesitation. They are your family after all, and they should love you no matter what. I know its hard at first, but when I told more and more people (only in my family that is) I really got used to it.
