i am now 6 months and half on T on a low dose. 3 months ago my doc made me do shots every 3 weeks instead of every 4 weeks like i used before, since my T level was lower than it had to. The dose is still "low" comparing to "standard" (i know, this is not what to care for, i was just trying to give you some ideas about my situation).
At the last blood work, tho, T was high... i did the blood work the last day before the shot, as usual, and it was just like if i had done it 1 week earlier, more or less... I nevertheless had the shot the day after that - because blood work results came after a few days, so i did not know about my levels when i had the shot. When my doc saw the results, he shifted my dose again every 4 weeks instead of every 3 weeks, so i will start from this shot to go every 4 weeks again.
He said that the T was accumulating, so it was necessary to lower the dose and he did by making this shift.
what he did not say tho, is WHY i am accumulating T. Is it something that relates to a "disfunction" of mine? Am i not able to "process" the T? In other words, i don't really care to make my shot every 2-3-4-5-1000 weeks, as far as the T dosage is correct and i am healthy. But i DO care to know if something's wrong with my reaction to T / my ability to use and process T.
So the question is: Which are the reasons you can accumulate the T for? Do I have to worry?
