Join the club.    I look a little like my mom, but that's it.  Mom always says that I look more like some of my relatives, than immediate family members. 

You may be an alien child Julia  , but for being one, you're quite the looker!   I should be so lucky as to look half as good as you do!

The bank that I go to takes a picture of your license to identify you so it pops up when they open your account. Twice already, when I have went to put money in my moms account, different tellers have told me that I look so much like my mom I'm just a darker version lol I wish I had a sister, but I don't. I also look a lot like my cis-female cousin. So much so that I'm sure if I was born a cis girl we probably could've passed for twins.

It's not uncommon for some cousins, even nieces and/or nephews to resemble someone - more often than not.  I have a friend who's daughter was the spitting image of her and her daughter's daughter a spitting image and the friend was a spitting image of her mom.  I just call them clones, lol.

I without a doubt look like my mother when she was younger. My now deceased grandfather who had dementia often thought I was my mother and would engage me in conversation meant for my mother.

I look a little like my Mum, but what has floored me somewhat is how much I look like my Nan (maternal grandmother) from certain angles...

When I was younger people said I looked like my dad. I always hated that. Now I look ALOT like my mom aside from my chin and nose size anyway. lol
