Do you think I'd be able to get a loan for top surgery while going to college when I may also need student loans at the same time? My income is low and I'm on SSI.

More on my backstory: I haven't gotten accepted to college yet. I would be starting community college and then going on to a 4 year college. They said community college is apt to be covered while I may need a scholarship or loan for the next one.

A loan officer wants to know how much you're borrowing, when you plan to pay it back, and how does he get his money if you step in front of a bus or say, die on the operating table. You need collateral to cover that eventuality. If you do, a loan shouldn't be a problem.
