I Am Jess

This morning the Advocate released the video that they did featuring me and a little bit of my story.  Here's the link to the video.  I guess there goes any chance of living a stealth life......(which was never in my plans).

Jess, this is incredibly wonderful that you are giving your story to the world to help teach understanding and fairness.  I'm so happy for you!

Btw ....I have some parking tickets.... lol

Thank you. I have been very open and shared my story from day one of my transition. For me there was really no other option.

My legal advice on the tickets....pay them before they turn into arrest warrants...😉

you know how far the universe extends outward? i think i go inside just as deep.

10/11/18 - out to the whole world.  100% friends and family support.
11/6/17 - came out to sister, best day of my life
9/5/17 - formal diagnosis and stopping DIY in favor if prescribed HRT
6/18/17 - decided to stop fighting the trans beast, back on DIY.
Too many ups and downs, DIY, purges of self inbetween dates.
Age 10 - suppression and denial began
Age 8 - knew I was different

@Jess - Wow what a great video, you came across in a very elegant and dignified way, I'm sure many here are proud of you for being such a positive and dignified voice for transgender people. I was inspired! x

Wow congrats Jess that's great! By the way, you started transitioning in March and full time in June? Are the photos in the video an exact timeline? How did you change so much so fast?!

Thank you!  Yes I started the HRT portion of my transition in March of 2015.  I had a trech shave in April, name and gender change in May and was full time in June. HRT was very good to me as was my ability to use make up.  I've posted here previously a month by month of my transition in pictures and yes it is an exact timeline. I think they took the pictures they used in the video from a video that was made of one of the trainings I've done.  They are the same pictures I posted here.  I still can't believe that I've changed so much in the last 3 years.

This video made me very happy, as I commented in one of the "happy" threads. You were great!

The spy who came in from the cold in the War Between the Sexes.

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

What a great video, Jess!  You are inspirational.

I got choked up when you asked how many had worked on cases where the victim was trans and a whole mess of hands went up.   :icon_sadblinky:
