Have been on HRT since 2004, never gonna look like my desired gender regardless what I do so I have accepted that and moved on to just being me...ish.
6'8" 250lbs, size 16 feet, likely as not klinenfelter.
Estrogen, for me, just made things feel more normal, nothing else has changed, no epiphanies, no blissful feelings, just a confirmation of many aspects of me that seemed strange before (uncanny sense of smell for 1).
Though I appreciate well meaning "you can do it" comments there is absolutely nothing on this earth, yet invented, that will make me look like anything but a giant dude...I'm past it, please be too.
Hope your 2018 is freaking awesome.
Andrea
Born 1963
Knew I should be female 1972
Grew 18" in single year 1978
Resigned to self that I never will pass regardless, and will always and forever just be seen as a giant dude, but will pursue femme self ID anyway.
started HRT 2002 DIY
Prescribed legitimately 2012
Just going to be me.

Hi Andrea 🙋‍♀️ Welcome to Susan's Place!  I'm Jessica.  I am one that is content with how I am from just taking E.  If I never can pass ...I'm ok with it.  So I understand what your saying.

I see your new here, so I'll post some links that may help you get better acquainted with the site. Pay attention to the site rules they can be of great help and don't forget the link highlighted red.  It has answers to questions that are commonly asked.  Then join in on a topic you find interesting and learn and share.

Please feel free to stop by the Introductions Forum to tell the members about yourself!

Hello Andrea, it is a pleasure for me to also say Welcome to Susan's Place....  this is a great site for you to share your successes, failures and concerns on your transition journey.  There are lots of members here that will have similar questions and concerns as you that you can communicate with on the Forums.

Many on here develop friends on this site as they share information... feel free to get involved as much or as little as you feel comfortable doing.

Be certain to look over and go to the helpful and informative LINKS that Jessica had included at the bottom of her Welcome Message to you.  The information there will help you navigate around the site and also give you important site rules.

Again, WELCOME,
Danielle

I wish I started in 2004. I actually knew someone who started transitioning around then but we've lost contact then too. Things would be very different

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
