Update to the update about my update.  Updated!

So this morning I drove down to Austin to see people at Planned Parenthood. They are amazed at my progress.  The main thing I wanted was to start on microized progesterone. That will start this week.  Then they asked me if I wanted my letter to change my gender and name.  I said um, yeah.  Later in the conversation I found out a doctor that performs SRS recently moved from San Fran to Austin.  So now I may not have to travel far to get my bottom surgery.  So I've been having a great day, then I got home and had to call AT&T about some stuff that hasn't been delivered yet.

Oh well,  it's been a good day.

I love that Austin has gcs now.  I think all of us are progressing more than we think.  I was told I looked beautiful this morning by a clerk and I was all giddy, I don't even get ma'amed so this was a treat indeed.  Ooh, new phone huh?  Me too, phone twins:)

you know how far the universe extends outward? i think i go inside just as deep.

10/11/18 - out to the whole world.  100% friends and family support.
11/6/17 - came out to sister, best day of my life
9/5/17 - formal diagnosis and stopping DIY in favor if prescribed HRT
6/18/17 - decided to stop fighting the trans beast, back on DIY.
Too many ups and downs, DIY, purges of self inbetween dates.
Age 10 - suppression and denial began
Age 8 - knew I was different

I got the Samsung 9 and I'm back and forth on liking it.  I use the camera quite a bit and the new slow motion feature is one feature that I do not like.  Also it has a feature that if you don't answer a call and send them a text message instead you get a snooze alarm reminding you to call them back.  I really don't like this.  I need to go in and figure out how to turn it off.

Also I'm having issues with the Vudu app.  It will never download a movie.

Other than that I like it.  I'm loving the health feature in it.

Aha, yes that is a nice phone, great features and color choices.  Really good audio too in that one along with the camera.  Good choice with that one.  My main consideration this round was size.  The Samsung S9 is almost exactly the same size as my HTC 10 and I wanted smaller.  I ended up with the Sony xz2 compact.  It's smaller, a little thicker than my current. It feels great in the hand though.  It's odd, but due to size it feels gender affirming too, and I need all of that kind of thing:)  I wanted the Coral, but got green.  It matches a purse I have too!

I got the blue coral one with a clear Otterbox case.  After seeing a phone survive a plunge off the top of a castle I'm a firm believer in those things.

Today's Update.  After finally getting some stuff figured out I started Progesterone last night.  I told my doctor that I want to try it out so she gave me a script for 90 days.  I'll see how that does for me.  Today marks 9 months on HRT and I'm very happy where I am.

I'm nervous about next week because I have to go interview for my job.  Kinda strange but it's everyone doing it. Oh well. Also I'm meeting a Facebook friend for lunch.  We haven't met in person yet and she's in town for one of side businesses.  I can't wait to meet her.

Welp, that's about it for today.  It's back to work tomorrow and then fossil hunting on Saturday.

Wow, almost a month since my last update.  It has been a wild and busy month.  I went and did the interview, physical agility test and waited.  And waited.  Other employees got their phone calls and offers but I waited and waited.  A week later I finally ask my boss if I should be concerned.  She told me to wait and she would make a phone call.  So about 30 minutes later I get my phone call with an offer.  I accept but still have to wait for an email with a link to confirm it all.  A week later the email never came.  I emailed back the HR lady and after a day of phone calls and emails find out I was accidentally put in the Rejected/Do Not Hire category. So they fixed that and I'm good to go now.

Today is the first day of orientation. I'm a little nervous which is odd since I've gone through this before when the last company came in.  As I sit here and type this all I look up at the digital picture frame that only has pictures from the trip to Ireland that my spouse and I went on a few years ago.  A picture popped up that I didn't recognize or even remember where it was taken at.  My spouse used the camera most of the trip while I used my mobile phone.  Oh well, I got a few more minutes before I have to leave.

Thanks for reading my rambling.

Hey gals, just dropped in for a bit.  I stepped away from here for a bit to get my head straight.  I had a rough patch at work with some bad calls.  Sure my PTSD got a bit bigger. Any way I updated my avatar picture to a more recent one.  I took it after riding some trails on a bike this week.  I've gotten into doing this again and I'm loving it.  We have some great trails where I live.  They have national competitions out here every once and a while.

It's coming up on my one year anniversary of when I told my spouse that I'm transgender.  It's a very important date for me so I want to do something for it. Transitioning is going very well. Everyone at work has been great about it. The patients are another matter.  I had one patient yesterday that refused to answer my questions but he would answer my partner and firefighter's questions.  I had them go outside so the patient had no choice but to talk to me. Other patients have been quite funny at times.

Any way that's all the time I got.  The little one has closing ceremonies for little league baseball this morning.

Until next time.

My last update.

Came up on for the one year anniversary and it went fine.  I got her a card and that's about it.  Next one is one year on HRT at the end of the month.  That should happen while we are on vacation at the beach.  I can't wait for that vacation.  It's something I really need right now. Beach, water, a cute swimsuit, family time, not working.  Just can't wait.

Well it's been fun here.  Take care everyone.
