And woot! Prosecutor reduced the charges, so no jail time!

Thank you all for your comments. I'm definitely super happy about the reckless being reduced—I was super worried.

Danielle, my awesome stylist did my cut, but I did my own color. I really love L'Oréal MegaReds in Medium Intense Red Copper and SoyPlex in Dark Red Blonde. It should come really nice on your base color! I'm personally wanting to transition back to blonde, but I'm not going to try to DIY that.

Wow Yayo, you are so pretty. Glad your court thing went OK. I've tried a few reddish colors but for now I have settled on Loreal Feria #45 which is called a deep bronze brown but turns out with a bit of red hue in the light on me.

@Michelle_P    Very nice photo and hopefully you are have a wonderful time visiting with your daughter.  What other neat plans do you have while in NYC with your daughter?
I am very happy for you that your flight went well, you arrived safely, and you are having a nice visit... when is the last time you had seen her?  In NYC or back in your town??

I was there for dinner last night.


I'm headed back to Cali tomorrow afternoon. So far I haven't had any issues with someone misgendering me the 4 days I've been here. I hope you have an amazing time in the Big Apple.

Hey ladies, all looking great!! I'm in nyc and no surprise you're gendered correctly. Michelle and Jess, you're beautiful women and everyone can see that!
People here tend to have a bit more common sense- usually.
I don't go out as much at night but that's when the schmucks come out anywhere. They're harmless for the most part but think people actually care to hear what they think.
Anyway, during the day I've stopped getting misgendered without trying much just the puffiness in my face for someone presenting male seems like enough to stop people from calling me "sir". For the most part [emoji4] even though I just look like a bloated chipmunk with my cheeks lol

Congratulations! It is the biggest hurdle to overcome by far. And your pictures are quite lovely. It took me quite a bit to look that good.  Hormones will treat you well. 

On a side note, with that outfit I think a light red or nude would be quite flattering. It'll bring out your eyes more than the magenta. But, the pictures are quite fabulous!

I plan to try other colors soon. The lavender also matches some cute tights I have :3  The nude would also match the lace back that is only peeking out on the straps
