Excited about new therapist and beginning HRT!!

 My new therapist wants to put a plan together for me to begin my transition including HRT so I can live my life normally and happy!! I am excited and owe it to all of you. I was nervous and afraid of my first steps to happiness. With your encouragement and advice I am going for it!! I feel so much better and at ease. I can begin  my transition and when I feel comfortable talk to my family. My true self Will be speaking then! Thank you all! 💋💓💞😂

@ Corrina:  This is exciting news.  Starting HRT will be a most memorable moment for you.   I am certain that as you  have been reading other transitioners stories here that you are aware that their personal HRT experiences timelines are definitely unique to to them.   Some bodies react to HRT quicker and some slower.  And those on HRT, including myself always want changes quickly.
The now old saying here on Susan's Place is that "Your mileage may vary" meaning what you read about others may not be true for you........... so, I am sure that others here are tired of my saying "Patience is required"

I am looking very forward to your updates on how you are progressing and also feel free to share your sucesses, and your concerns. There are lots of transitioners here that can offer support and suggestions .... and we are always available to hear your stories.

Alaskan Danielle, thank you! I will from the first day then we changes begin to occur. I want to scream I am so excited!! I will begin my journey and start living the life I am meant to. I know it will take time but I can't wait to go full time as a woman!

Its a fun journey. Keep a track of what happens because as time passes you'll lose track of the earlier stuff. Good luck!

Congratulations on your new transition journey. Just remembered Medical transition is slow and tedious process and your body just take it time to adjust to new hormones replacement level. Some changes you or other will notice, but other changes will be subtle. So patient is the key.

   I can be heard always saying that "Usually nothing happens quickly with HRT, Patience is required."   ....or not as quickly as we all desire... we want it all and we want it now!!!!

Note: Maddie, I am still thinking about your last update and about coming out to your Dad....   and of course your job and housing situations.......  and your super busy month of April coming up!!!
I will be thinking of you in all that you are going through.
