I decided to look up a let's play of Dark Souls 3, and it definitely looks interesting. I guess I should start with the remaster then, as I would hate to skip over 1 and 2. Never played an rpg though, or at least I think I haven't. Anyways, yeah I will totally give the franchise a try!
You should share some of your music library on one of the music threads here! I love discovering new music from others!
It's pretty intense. But thing is, you can play it over and over and STILL not understand the story at all XD You won't be any more lost if you played number 3 before 1 or 2. Personally I always tell people to play 3 cuz I think it's the best made one. The first one is great too but it's much slower paced, the ui is less friendly to newer players, and it has lots of things like bad hit detection and lag that hopefully the remaster fixes XD
Number 2 I do like, but most fans say it sucks. Idk, it's just different. It is slower paced and probably the easiest of the 3, but has a really annoying mechanic that every time you die your max health gets reduced and you need to use humanity (which is limited) to fix that. Number 3 is better that humanity (technically called embers in this one) gives you extra health and when you die you lose that extra health, but still keep however much you leveled up. Number 1 has no health mechanic at all. But like I say, it is a really hard game that takes some getting used to.
As for music, like I said to you in a different post I know of lots of orchestras. My favorite is "Two Steps From Hell." I believe they have been used in some game trailers before. Also if you really wanna traverse the website
extrememusic.com has practically any genre you could think of on it. It's an industrial stock music website. You can't buy from them unless you work in the industry but you can always listen for free.
