Last night was a good night. After we got the kids in bed, I began cleaning up the kitchen and working on dishes. My wife was at the computer checking emails. Soon I could hear some audio playing and I peaked around the corner to see what she was watching. It was a video on gender dysphoria.

After watching a couple of related videos, she joined me in the kitchen and wanted to discuss it with me. She genuinely wanted to know what it feels like for me. We discussed it for over an hour, and not once did she seem uncomfortable. She gave me a big hug before we headed off to bed and reassured me that she's not going anywhere, she'll stick by me no matter what I need in terms of dysphoria treatment, even up to surgery if needed.

It was a good ending to the day. The stress of coming out has been a little rough, but having her support is a really good thing.
